Dæhli has been very good for Norway in the international games, and it looks to me that he´s finally finding back his touch from last season. His passing has been very good and the ball again seemed glued to his boots. I think this might be the time to play him.

Hard to predict the team really, as I believe the effort players have shown on the training ground might be just as important as their performances in matches so far this season. Slade needs to turn things around, and he might drop some of the players who are responsible for our current league position.

Based on what I saw from Dæhli in the international matches, I have a good feeling about the Fabio/Dæhli link. I hope Slade will play him.

I agree with you Bluebina, I think it's gonna be same old, same old to start. Slade will carry on from where those two previous jerks left off. However I don't blame him completely. I have high hopes that very soon we will see his own stamp on things and the likes of non contributors like Whittingham will be dropped in favour of a more dynamic combination. I'm gonna give him a few games to get his feet under the table, so although I'm not expecting a particularly inspirational selection Saturday, I expect to see positive changes soon. Doubt if he'll drop Gunnar who has been one of our more influential players this season, so all is not lost. Keep the fsith fella!

This^ team would loose possession all the time. You have 3 midfielders in there that are not very good on the ball. You have to have midfielders that are able to retain the ball too. Think Adeyemi especially has been very poor in this regard.
Ravel was excellent when he played with the right players in that first match but when played with people who don't have an ounce of his vision and ability he struggled to link up with people( blackpool) or was pretty much anonymous and couldn't get on the ball (brighton). People expect these flair players like Ravel and Daehli to do everything by themselves. But they need to be surrounded by likeminded thinkers who has the ability to play on their level imo. Daehli and Ravel were actually particularly good together think they would rip apart opposition defences. Thought whitts looked like he could have a bit of chemistry with Ravel too.
Also don't see why anyone would chose Lefondre over Jones. He must be getting in the team on reputation because he hasn't been very good for us.
