Serbia V Albania Suspended As Drone Flies Above Pitch, Teams Fight And Fans Riot

There have been amazing scenes at the Serbia v Albania clash as play was stopped as a drone carrying the Albania flag flew above the pitch at the Stadion Partizana in Belgrade.

It’s the first time Albania have visited Belgrade since 1967 but none of the country’s fans were allowed to attend tonight.

The crazy incidents were charted by freelance football writer Nick Ames on Twitter who is in attendance at the game.

It’s believed a drone flew over the stadium showing with the Albania flag hanging from it and all hell broke loose forcing English referee Martin Atkinson to suspend the heated clash:

My sister in law worked in Kosovo for un in aftermath of war. The Serbs and the Albanians absolutely hate each other. There were some horrific atrocities committed on both sides.

Albanian fans were banned from this game too

Makes a few Gogs running on the pitch look a bit tame!!!

Why were allowed to be drawn in the same I mean they stopped Spain and Gibraltar and Armenia and Azerbajan etc. but let these be drawn together seems a bit stupid by Uefa.
