I HATE THE INTERNATIONAL BREAK

Tue Oct 14, 2014 12:26 am

... But this was amazing!

Let's be honest, in times past when league games get a break because of internationals, I and most of my friends hate it. We normally feel like fish out of water and look forward to the league resuming.

I've have had a ball this weekend. The way Wales played and the buzz about the games was truly inspiring. To see the stadium so full on Friday again is something to cherish.

I honestly think that there will be a feelgood factor going into next weekend's game against Forest. I hope the attendance will be up too. Live on Sky so good to put on a descent performance.

Bad timing for me. Off on holiday Saturday for two weeks so I miss three games.

The most I've enjoyed football in a longggg time.

Wales will become just like Cardiff under Dave Jones.

They'll probably end up just outside the play-offs - nearly men yet again.

It only needs Bale to get injured or banned and it will all go tits up again.

And Wales fans are even more fickle than City fans! In that campaign when Wales beat Italy at home the Millenium Stadium was full for nearly every home game. Then in the barren years after that most games were played in front of one man and his dog. Now it looks like there's a chance that they may actually qualify for a 32 team tournament (which they really should do considering they're ranked 29 in the whole world, not just Europe) everyone is jumping back on the bandwagon!

I agree with the heading of this post. Despite the Gareth Bale Show over the last few days, I hate international football and can't wait to get back to the proper football on Saturday.

Yeah, I've really enjoyed it, first one in a long time. And came at a good time for Cardiff imo with new manager coming in and all that

Enjoyed the Wales games far more than any Cardiff games recently.

Can't remember the last time I've enjoyed a Cardiff game. This however reminded me of the good days watching Cardiff. So refreshing to actually look forward to a Wales game!

I prefer the international break. I think of it more as a break from watching Cardiff

Agreed
Looking forward to Belgium now. Prefer these Internationals to watching Cardiff's clueless, gutless lot.
