The cream of league 1

Well apparently the in the know people on here seem to think that Russell slade is gonna be signing championship and lower league players.
Well if they are right then I would guess that he could go after the cream of league 1. I think this could work as there are probably some very good players there who haven't had the chance at a higher level yet, a lot of players have come through the ranks and then made it at a high level in the premiership so who knows could work..

I don't really follow the lower leagues much and was just wondering if anyone on here had some knowledge of league 1 or lower and who are the best players there and would it be realistic and effective for us signing them?

I think he will go in for Orient's Dean Cox, tiny pact winger who bagged a lot last season, he's quick and skillful.

From what I hear he isn't all that and not better than what we already have. Think we might need to be setting our sights higher and aiming for better than orient players
