Pulis would have got the 3 points for Wales yesterday

Sat Oct 11, 2014 9:58 pm

Just my opinion but I'm convinced he would have pulled a rabbit out of the hat and got the 3 points if he was manager

Tell ya what, with all the praise Pulis gets on this forum, I'm surprised he's not got any Premier League titles or Champions League trophies to his name.

I'm going on that I think Pulis could get that something extra out of the players

He probably wouldn't have.

How could he have got extra to what they gave Friday?

What we wouldn't have had was the fluid football we played at times.

I am surprised you didn't say Pulis would have pulled a rabbit out a hat, and we got 4 points !

The rabbit of course scored 3 and we won 5 nil. :)

So out of interest what do you think the score would have been and I'll throw a few names at you if that's ok if
Alex Ferguson
Jose Morino( you know the fucker from Chelsea)
Jock Stein
John Toshack
Ole.gunner Solkier?
Jim Bowen(not of bullseye fame)Welsh manager from the sixties
Sir Alf Ramsey
And finally the one that will interest most City fans our own Russell Slade

If you want someone to pull rabbits out of a hat then David Nixon is your man brilliant he was

maybe he would have, maybe he wouldn't.

but would he manage us for like £300k a year? that money will only attract a rookie or a championship level manager like coleman. he could command a salary of £1.5m plus when the first PL team panics and sacks their manager, with TP being front in line for a firefighting job.

No he wouldn't cos he would never take a job on £200,000 a year

That simple

Yeah you right there. Pulis seems to get something more out of average players and let's be honest excluding Bale and Ramsey (who didn't play on Friday) the national team is average

I down like Coleman but the players are playing for him which says something about his management, if they have faith in him and keep putting in performances like Friday then we will qualify

Now you're talking smakerz! I must admit I'm not a fan of Coleman but Friday was great. I know Hennesey was superb but I thought Gunter did well too, Bale showed leadership (even though he wasn't Captain) and defensively, a big improvement. I don't understand the negativity. We held a really capable side and kept a clean sheet. :-)

And all without three key players who are among our most important in Ramsey, Allen and Vokes.

Credit where credit is due the Welsh players gave there all and could not ask for more. Could Pulis of got any more ? No I don't think he could.

Maybe he could have, who knows. But at this current time we need to be supporting Coleman! I was against Coleman at the end of the last qualifiers but now he is still our manager and I will support him until he gives me a reason not to these qualifiers.

I thought the Welsh team showed passion and heart, the lack of quality sometimes shows but that is to be expected!!
