It was a great atmosphere - reminded me why I love football. Unfortunately also showed up how bad the atmosphere is at City home homes.

Citys home support might have gone up in numbers, but passion/atmosphere gone

so once again the Welsh FA miss a trick.

Bale is urging supporters to turn up tomorrow and they can't be bothered selling tickets?

Just unbelievable! :old:

To be honest I am surprised the ticket office is closed Today but tickets have been on sale for over a month and you can buy on line Today, or at the stadium Tomorrow, hopefully we will get over 20,000 for this game.

Corkmeister, it's the times we are in.

When you are on a roll, you go for it. You don;t say oh well they've had plenty of time, you seize the moment. It's why we've lived in the duldrums for so long, the apathy in the welsh fa beggars belief and they've missed a great chance today with people being off work.

Marketing (of which we've had feck all down the city as well) is a must if you want maximum return. So very sad, I'd have sat selling tickets for free today to fill that ground and I bet you and others would have well!

yes its a fair point mate and I will bring it up at the next meeting, we definitely need to maximise all resources to encourage ticket sales, especially for a Monday night where half our country will have great transport problems to add to loss of earnings for days off...

I bet a "sales agent" in the Asda car park could have attracted a fair number of the shoppers there today to buy tickets for Monday......no need to sell them actual tickets, either guide them to the ticket office or just flog them cut price vouchers to be redeemed at the City Ticket office before kick off.

Same thing in Queen Street.......

and down the Bay.....loads of people out and about today......

Also - what happened to the programmes on Friday ??.

None on sale as far as I could see at any of the kiosks.....I was lucky and found they were on sale in the City store.

How many did they sell ? I laughed at the lack of programmes in Andorra but this was almost as bad.

I doubt if many Bosnians got a souvenir.

the programmes themselves were weird.....vastly oversized, large adverts, large pictures and anything written was in very small type. what was that about ? It was as big as the Sunday Times Supplement !
Let's go back to the standard A5 size that fits in your pocket please.

Dual programme for the Cyprus game, so perhaps they will have kiosks selling them on Monday ??

No programme sellers outside the ground now as one of Tan's cutbacks, only the club shop and red merchandise booths inside the ground sell them now.

Not sure about City games haven't been down yet this season

Ninian stand and grandstand look around 95% sold out for tomorrow.

Canton and grange stand looking around 60-75% so looks promising again.

I got there early on Friday, about 4-4.30, as I needed to collect my ticket from the ticket office, having bought it online on Wednesday night. So after collecting the ticket, I had some time to kill. Programmes were in the club shop, and when I entered the stadium at about 6.30 (I was in the Ninian stand's new tier), they were selling them at the merchandise stands. So not that hard to get hold of one, really.

I'm not sure how many Bosnians wanted a programme myself, it didn't look as if they were actively seeking them

As for the programmes' size, it is a bit strange that they're not the standard size, though it doesn't really make much difference to me. As for the content, a bit less than usual, I thought. Only one interview (with Ashley Williams), but decent info on the opposition, I suppose. But it's a good idea (and cheaper for everyone) to have it as a dual programme. There's only a three-day turnaround between both games, remember, so it would have been a bit of a nightmare trying to get another programme for the Cyprus game done.
