How Would You Vote?

Fri Oct 10, 2014 1:06 pm

I know it's off the main football theme but there are a few posts about yesterday's elections.

If there was a general election tomorrow how would you vote?

If you lived in England fine but Ukip has no relevance in Wales whatsoever. Plaid is the only realistic option against the major Westminster parties. Plaid has Wales' interests at heart. Do Ukip care about Wales? Do the f*@k!

People being easily taken in by UKIP. If they had to form a government who have they got to make up a cabinet apart from their boozy leader? What policies have they got except get out of Europe and stop immigration? Like you I've come to the conclusion that the only party that truly cares about Wales is Plaid.

If they cared for the workers then they'd not have opened the flood gates in 97 to 2m low skilled migrants. But that isn't the real reason why they allowed mass immigration as like Tony Blair has admitted. The reason being is they wanted to keep the Toris out of power for good and the Labour party thought by allowing mass immigration then these migrants would vote Labour, it has worked in a way as the Muslim population do vote Labour as Labour feed them what ever they want. The Tories are no better or the Lib Dems. All three main parties hold the British in contempt.

Mass immigration has compressed wages. Workers have to fight with immigrants for peanuts.

 I live in a village called Steyning in West Sussex, 12 miles West of Brighton, Much posher than Brighton & hove. I worked all my life till last year when had to give work up and look after the old boy, I get £56 a week careers allowance. £56 a week, Polish, Romanians who go home get £72 a week from the British Government, yes, all these immigrants that return home get £72 pounds a week even if they have worked here in the UK for a week.

They are sitting on their arses at home earning £72 a week while Polish bus drivers earn £200 a month. I have paid into the system since I left school in 1985 and now I'm only entitled to £56 a week. Can see why millions of immigrants head here, The British tax payers are taken for mugs.

Shame how innocently uneducated these ukip voters are. Are they aware of any policies other than the immigration one? In fairness they aren't entirely racist, but politically inept.

Social democracy is what we should be encouraging...none of the above parties can offer it. If your vote mattered, they wouldn't let you have it!

If immigration is the main issue for people on the door and they see UKIP as the only party who they think can tackle that issue then why is that uneducated. For the NHS which Labour would want you to think but immigration is the biggest issue for millions of voters especially in areas like the south wales valleys

It's people like you who are deluded, About time you took those blinkers off and realize it's immigration that is causing all the problems in the UK. NHS has a £30 billion black hole, Housing shortage, not enough school places, wage compression, 18% of the prison population is foreigners, GP surgeries can't cope, community's are changing before locals eyes, benefit welfare is up by 20%.

Have you noticed that a patten is forming here and why do you think all the above are happening?

Local authorities in Wales are given cash lumps sums to house non UK nationals and people wonder why they can't get a council house ?

Re: How Would You Vote?

You're all missing the point here. The system is broken... All of the above only serve the wealthy elite. The only exception I would make would be the green party as they have some very different ideas about government... It's not all about the environment!

I for one will never vote in this broken system cos to me that is showing that I buy into it. The ballot box won't solve our problems.

Ps - why are people so down on immigrants... They're people who are deep down the same as us. It's the wealthy elite who have more money than they can ever spend we should turn our attention to!

Has for generations and will do for the seeable future. It has always been poor - rich and that how it works.Want equal pay between the rich and poor then you have communism and socialism like Labour want, we all know socialism doesn't work, just ask the French

f*cking disaster in Brighton and hove. Another three day bin strike and have raised the council tax, they are out come next may.

Then you have no right to voice your opinion in this thread if you don't vote. How the f**k can you moan if you won't vote.

Plaid is full of career politicians who only care for their jobs, which is why they want devolution from Westminster, yet they still want to be governed by Europe. UKIP care about the whole of the UK and are the only party who want to create new grammar schools, which is one of the few ways that people from a working class background could better themselves. The countries who kept the grammar school system are excelling in the world in terms of education, Singapore for example consistently comes near the top for the best educated in the world. UKIP are also the only party who want to scrap wind farm subsidies, HS2 (saving £70b) and green taxes. Wind farms do not save one power station because if the wind stops, the power needs to be available on demand and power stations need hours of running to get ready, so the energy is wasted as we don't have banks of capacitors. The only reason that wind power is used is to appease the followers of global warming.

The gap between the rich and the poor grew to such an extent under the last labour government that the last time it was as wide the poor were living in workhouses. Labour are a bunch of champagne socialists who want the people to do as they're told, yet those in office behave completely different. For example Dianne Abbott was against public schools yet sent her children to public school.

Its mainly the english immigrating to Wales to escape all them immigrants in the cities.

Voted Labour last time but living in South London you see the massive problems they create & believe me all these stories of these immigrants getting everything before the British is true.

They are building loads of flats etc around my area & the foreigners gets them & after a few months they are disgusting slums.

A cave is to good for these lot.
