Considering Sir Alex Ferguson basically masterminded the finest moments of Roy Keane's, Keane has some f*cking gall laying into Fergie so badly. I'm not a fan of Keane though. He slagged Fergie off for being negative towards certain players and then spends the entire book slating players himself.

I could write a list of reasons why I don't like Keane. The only decent thing he's done is scowl at Adrian Chiles constantly.

Just my opinion, but honestly what has he ever achieved other than Sunderland promotion with masses to spend...I know someone else who did that lol, always walks away or gets sacked.

I can think of another former man utd.player who would give him a run for his money.

I remember that epesode with him and Vieria in the tunnel, when keane was gobbing off trying to act the hard man in front of the cameras and vieria just smiled and kept his cool. I remember thinking to myself, vieria would annihilate him in proper fight. I doubt very much Keane wouldve been so quick to act the tough guy against the likes of Vinny jones , John fashanu or even a Paul ince if he was in the same dressing room. Good player in his day, but Comes across as an absolute cock of a man who really believes his own "hard man hype"

Just remember he took vieria on in his own backyard after he saw him picking on Gary Neville he stood up for his team mate total respect he turned the tables on vieria

Insolent, Petulant,,& Arrogant,,,some of the descriptions i could use to describe Roy Keane.

Even the great Brian Clough had serious issues with him, as a youngster at Forest.

Pity, because as a player, he was one of the best.

Just remmber has a player total winner

Re: Roy Keane

Lets face it he falls out with his own shadow, he fell out with Mick Mc Carthy, the board/owner at Sunderland and now he is slagging Ferguson off, plus numerous other fallouts, drunken brawls and cowardly assaults on other players. His track record is dire and after his tackle on Alf-Inge Haaland he should have been banned for life. Nothing more than a bully boy pikey who would be better off in a caravan selling clothes pegs.

And completely run the show that day, if I remember rightly. He's a winner, and exactly the sort of player we are missing at ccfc

I agree I like him, would love him in our team, 100% commitment, and wouldn't take any shit from anyone, Vieria didn't want to know that game, Keane one that battle before a ball was kicked........

There's a difference, the players Fergie slagged off brought him a lot of success to the club, players he slagged off didn't really deliver.

Is this the latest book you read annis that's just come out.
It's a great read and gives a different insight into keane. Dosent portray himself as the hard man in the book and says tha at seventeen Ronaldo was the hardest trainer in the team.

I'm half way through the book and he hasnt slagged off or slated any players?

Quite the opposite if anything, he is very complimentary about many of the lads he's played with.

Good read, very different from the way the papers have sensationalised it. When you read it how it is in the book, not just a snippet it reads very well, thoroughly thought out and honest.

im just onto KPs book now and its started brilliantly.

finished jimmy cases book over the weekend and that was average at best, thought jimmys book would be a top read so was disappointed
