“We’re Going For Three Points Against Wales”

Susic – “We’re Going For Three Points Against Wales”

Bosnia-Herzegovina‘s national football team is set to take on Wales today 20:45, at Cardiff City Stadium, in Wales. Safet Susic’s men lost their opening EURO2016 qualification match to Cyprus 1-2 at home in Zenica, while the Welsh drew victory from Andorra away from home. Now the Bosnian team is looking to strip points from Gareth Bale and the Welsh Dragons, quite a task.

Safet Susic addressed the media in Cardiff, talking about his defensive woes, and the lack of availability of several crucial players, including long-time skipper Emir Spahic (Bayer Leverkusen). “I’ve come to terms with the fact that Emir Spahic will not be with us. Despite this, we still have a great squad and I’m confident in my team. Anel Hadzic (Sturm Graz), and Toni Sunjic (Kuban Krasnodar) will be the central defensive duo tomorrow against Wales.”

Susic has been criticized by media and fans alike in Bosnia-Herzegovina for his paltry World Cup debut, as well as the shock loss to the Cypriots in front of the home crowd. This has put increasing pressure on “Pape,” to right the ship. With another loss, Bosnia-Herzegovina will be in an uncomfortable situation the rest of the way through qualifiers, and with Belgium looming only three days later, it could go from bad to worse.

“We won’t man-mark Gareth Bale, and we’ll look to play attractive, attacking football, which is our brand. Before the qualifiers we planned on defeating Cyprus, and getting at least a point from Wales. The situation has now changed to the point that we have to win here in Cardiff.”

If Wales manage a win I'll be very surprised. As soon as people think we may be getting somewhere as a team they nearly always let themselves and their country down.

I'd take a point.
With all our injuries and Coleman in charge.

I have gone to games for some time now expecting nothing and just relaxed and enjoyed the day. But that has now all changed with the players we potentially have. Looking for a win but without several key players I would happily take a draw.

But a win on Monday is vital.

Djeko will destroy our defence, that is my major worry.

Djeko feeds off good service, he wont create things on his own.

If we can upset Pjanic in the middle (big if) and stop the supply to Djeko we have a chance.

I think with all injuries we will do well to keep the score down..

Djeko doesn't do that much on his own.

It's Pjanic, the guy who plays for Roma (who did well last season, finishing second in Serie A), who we must watch closely.

So they have Pjanic and Djeko and we have Bale and ? (quickly scrambling for a list of players still available)?

I do not see any goal threat from us at all. If HRK is fit perhaps try him upfront as he is fairly big and quick. Alternate with Church who at least tries and will run all match. Not much options really.
Coleman will play all with a scumsea connection that's for sure.

Well Pjanic certainly was their main man last night.
