Absolutely. But then Tan employed him to unearth lower league, cheap signings that prove to be astute signings. The days of splashing big cash on players are gone.

I am in favour of bringing in one or two over thirties to settle the younger players down and find their best form with them about. It's almost become a no-no with clubs only interested in players 18 - 25 due to the obsession with sell-on values.
