Wed Oct 08, 2014 9:54 am

VIDEO
Russell Slade addresses the media in his long awaited first press conference as Cardiff City manager.

Slade was club owner Vincent Tan's personal choice as Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's successor

The former Leyton Orient boss said Tan was entitled to his opinions but also made it clear that he will be in charge of team affairs.

Really like the man, comes across as an intelligent but down to earth fella with a lot of time for fans and the media.

I like his comments about the working ethos, togetherness and pulling in the right direction.

Up Slades Barmy Army :bluescarf:

I wish he'd have his own backroom staff and not involve current useless management.

He needs to be able to see for himself what certain players can do - and do better than current 1st team and he needs the current snipers to mind their own business.

I'm not surprised by rumours of Guerra being unsettled, we all would if publicly slated for playing less than 90 minutes since joining the club!

I think there was more to that, than meets the eye, but he has a clean slate now, let's see if there is a way back in for him, and some of the others ???
