Agree totally. Runs at defences and his movement off the ball is always good. Much better than Maynard and Alfie.

He's not been the same since his injury the season before last but I'd still rather him than the likes of Macheda. That said, we've not fully utilized Le Fondre or Guerra yet.

I never wanted him to go out on loan but it was probably for the best if he wasn't going to get a kick for us. If Slade thought he was seriously in contention for a squad place then yes I'd bring him back, if not let him carry on developing with Bolton, we don't want to put the breaks on any progress he might be making by leaving him without first team football.

I can see ALF's City career kick starting with Slade coming in, he's already stated he likes to with two up front something that Le Fondre should be relishing, rather than being pulled in and out of games out on the wing.
