Will Millwall be a 'bubble trip'?

Mon Oct 06, 2014 8:59 pm

I'm working in London and the Millwall game is the closest stadium for me, just wondering if it will be a bubble trip (with police RV to swap voucher for ticket) because of the early kickoff and millwalls reputation, or would I be able to get the away tickets sent to me by the club to London? :bluescarf: :ayatollah:

It wasnt the last time I went there about 3 years ago I think just big police presences.

Very much doubt will be a bubble, wasn't the last few times.
You'll be able to get tickets posted to you from the club if you're a Gold member, and just train in to South Bermondsey and follow the away fans signs.
I wouldn't bother try and walk up, I did that a few seasons ago and the Police were acting as if i wanted trouble, doesn't seem to be the done thing as they had to unlock a gate to let us in. Train from London Bridge is no hassle at all though, although you'll be delayed 20 minutes plus leaving after the whistle.

Thanks for the info guys, any trouble when using public transport to get to and from the stadium? I've always gone on the supporters coach :ayatollah:

Got the train at least four times, no trouble. I used to live close to their ground and been to quite a few of their games, haven't seen anything more than handbags anywhere near the ground for over 5 years. Just don't go mouthing off and worth hiding colours on the train.

Only time you will see Millwall is when you catch the train from London Bridge to South Bermondsey. It's only 5 mins though so don't worry! Done it loads of times just expect a nice friendly bit of banter! LOL Teza :bluescarf:
