My View
I disagree, its not confidence as we had got good results away at Derby and Brighton(never played well though), plus a good win v Sheff Wed.
We need a good tactical manager

Caretaker half manager Scott Young has admitted that the players are lacking confidence and belief in themselves at the minute.
Speaking to the press following the one nil loss to Blackpool in our last game, our interim manager admitted that the sooner new manager Russell Slade is capable of coming in and starting to work with the lads properly the better really for us, so we can have that stability and long term plan again that hopefully the players will react well to.
'We have a lot of quality in this squad, but the players are low on confidence. The only way to change that is on the training ground and in matches. We can still be promoted, of course. There is only a quarter of the season gone, the harder we work, the better chance we've got.'
Young goes on to say that 'hopefully' the Slade situation can be sorted quickly to 'ensure stability so that the club can move forward.'
'We've worked hard over the last two weeks, myself, Dan, all the staff we've brought with us and the players as well. They've been magnificent. We've probably let ourselves down a bit in terms of the result and the performance. But we'll bounce back, there's lot of games to be played.'
As for Slade, it's being reported in the press today that Cardiff are now on the 'verge' of appointing him officially to the role as manager as it appears whatever paperwork we needed to sort with Leyton Orient following his resignation could now be done.
The announcement is said to be expected at some point this evening.

Agree. If anything we were over confidence going to blackpool

i'm not totally convinced the players are any better than the opposition. I think too many of the old guard have been moved on and replaced with young players who are still naive and need to be alongside leaders to perform well.
I'm guessing the obsession with sell-on-values meant signing a 30 year old on a 3 year contract was out of the question. We're left with Adeyemi, Macheda, Daelli, Fabio (is showing good leadership by example), Sean Morrison who is relatively young for a CB, plus Overseas players who haven't had the chance to play British football and can't be expected to lead young players.
My point is that they have put together a young squad/team that needed some more seasoned pros now the likes of Whitts is looking on his last legs.
The balance looks wrong with this squad.

As fans we are generally optimistic, especially in current times we just have to believe we can do it. Let's take comfort from the fact that we are only 9 points away from being top of the league, so in such a tight division, we can win this league, confidence comes before performance so we need to encourage the team and stop knocking individual players . Nobody gets up in the morning with a plan to have a bad day!

the results of all the teams are topsy-turvey, I guess the majority of the fans of Championship teams are questioning if it is really there year!

Disagree, ole was shit but not his fault at all. To be fair he's bought in good players. We have a decent team, a team capable to finish top 6 IMO.. Just need a good manager to make the current squad to play as a good, solid, consistent winning team.
