Surely if Kagisho Dikgacoi was so over weight

It would have been picked up at his medical?? If he was slim enough to have passed the medical
then the club has a case of withholding his wages for GROSS MISCONDUCT for gaining weight hence
not giving 100% to his employer who are paying him well to stay fit and at the optimal performing weight???
Just a thuoght

he was fat when they signed him, Ole put him on a fitness regime of getting the lads gravy & chips down chip alley from the vale by car. Ole said the calories burnt putting his foot on the accelerator will get him in tops shape and build his calf muscles

Not sure if we've all missed something here. I have a vague recollection that he had family problems just after he signed and went home to sort them out. Could be it just took a lot longer than the club thought it would.

But hes been with us since july I think
thats at least 12 weeks
how over wieght could he be
12 × 2=24
so just losing 2 lb a week he should be 24 lb lighter
some ones having a laugh  :bluescarf:

How long does it take a professional sportsman to get fit enough to be able to compete at a decent level in his chosen sport?
These guys have loads of time to train hard and get fit enough.
No excuses, the players know what's in front of them after their summer hols, it's their livelihood their profession, it's what pays the bills and what a super job they have.
How many of us would like to be in his position? professional footballer, very well paid and a hero to fans.
Footballers should never let their fitness drop to the level where 4 months after joining a new club their fitness is still below par.
He should be punching his c**t out in training and showing willing by doing extra stints after training's done.
He was brought in to be one of our big hitters in the middle of the park, the way it's going it'll be Christmas before we see him on the pitch. :x
