Ive seen a couple of posts on here which have said certain players are too good for the Championship.
I think if we have the mindsight that we only want "Championship Quality" players then we will remain just that - A Championship Side.
We need to have the mindset that we are, initially, aiming to be a "Bottom 10" PREMIERSHIP CLUB and therefore aim to get players in of that Calibre - Plus 1 or 2 Special players like Bellamy!
This is what Newcastle did. They had the mindset that they were a Premiership club (playing in the Championship) and used players with plenty of Premiership/International experience as a result. That Argentine Defender, for me, was one of the picks of the bunch!
Newcastle have given us the template as to what will get us automatic promotion. The question is Do we follow that template?
If we do.... then there is no reason why we cannont get 90+ points ourselves next year.
