A blessing in disguise.

I think the defeat and the results today are a bit in our favor and with slade getting 2 weeks to get his point across all is not lost. :ayatollah:

Are many going off on international duty? If not, then that's good too.

Hopefully we have the team installed early this week so that they can implement their plans and methods on the squad ready for our biggest game this season.

Delighted with an international break..

One thing is for sure, every one of the squad will have to sit up and take notice. Shade is too long in the tooth to have others make his mind up. I don't think he will be a puppet. He's more likely to want to pull the strings himself. :bluescarf:

My guess is that he will be quite verbal with players who don't stick to the game plan and work hard in training. I don't buy the "he hasn't had experience at this level" argument. The lower leagues are just as competitive and in some cases, more physical.

Hope hits the deck running!! :bluescarf:
