WERE THE PLAYERS TRYING TO SAY

Sat Oct 04, 2014 11:49 am

.........something last night in front of the TV cameras with such a shocking, apathetic gutless performance,it looked like to me. Were they saying that CCFC is a total shambles,an opinion of Tan,a goodbye message to Young and Gabbidon and a welcome to Russel Slade,i think so, player power is one hell of a thing and it's got rid of many a good manager. It's pretty obvious that Ole let this lot get away with murder and he was unable to man manage them as he should have in his position. He brought in a squad of gutless non-tryers and sadly this "cancer"has spread to the rest of the team. We would not have won at a Conference team last night as they were totally disinterested. What i thought last night was brilliant to see a relegation outfit with much less quality than us having a go with the passion and desire that we lacked against a team of gutless prima donnas. Ole's appointment which lasted 8 months i believe has knocked us back at least 2 years. Russel Slade has a thankless job taking over, i hope he is strong and sorts out the shirkers. What we really needed was a "Neil Warnock" type. I don't know enough about :bluescarf: Slade but i hope he is this type of manager. The problem is he's got to hit the ground running, get the squad match fit and organise them in such a way that everyone knows what they should be doing,a thankless task. If i was manager i would sit them down monday morning and make them watch the video of last night's debacle and try to shame them. Man management isn't easy you have to be a certain type, normally assistant managers remain assistants as they never have to make the big decisions. Right i've had my rant and i feel better for it now everyone can lay into me. :bluescarf: :bluescarf: :bluescarf:

Wrong on one thing,,,two years.

I think we have gone backwards about ten years myself.

The last thing Slade should do is shame the players. That will come if things continue to be the same in his reign.

Slade needs to play his best team. For me that means dropping Whittingham and Gunnarson. That is the only statement he needs to make at this stage.

Play who in the middle?

I think he needs to get someone in on loan.

I would love to see us sign Rudolph Austin from Leeds Utd. He is a beast, he is strong, loves a tackle, determined, passionate and he can play as a defensive midfielder or as a box to box midfielder. Personally, i would love for us to get Dickagcoi fit, sign Austin and pair him with Dickagcoi in midfield, with Noone on one wing, Pilkington/Burgstaller/Harris or bring a winger in on loan and play one of them on the other wing, then play Ravel behind Guerra. If we can't get Austin then let Adeyemi have a run alongside Dickagcoi in a good few games. But, i don't think any of that is ever gonna happen. As a supporter you never get to see the team that you would like to see the manager play, it never works like that.

Bloooooobirds.
