Relegation dog fight.... do we have the payers for one?

Sat Oct 04, 2014 11:40 am

And are the fans up for it?

Any one who thinks we are not in a relegation battle are living in the clouds.

Russell Slade is going to have one hell of a fight to try and keep us up.....Will he do it? I'm starting to have my doubts.

The defence is no where near as good as it was last season, and that's saying something as it was very poor last season, none of the central defenders are any way as good as Hudson.

The midfield offers no protection to the back four and very little going forward.

One up front doesn't work, as our plan B if we have one is to hit it long.....The strikers we have signed don't look up for a fight.

So to answer my question..... DO WE HAVE THE PLAYERS FOR A RELEGATION DOG FIGHT?.........AS IT STAND'S RIGHT NOW I'M SAYING NO WE DON'T.

Are the fans up for one......I would sat about 7,000 are the rest will just walk away.

Sorry Dazza but I disagree, I don't think we will be involved in a relegation battle. We played some good football against Wednesday the other week.

Challenging for playoffs I reckon, that is me being optimistic but I definitely do not think we be in a relegation battl :ayatollah:

Did we have the players, or manager,,for a dog fight last season?

NO, we didn't,,& as things currently stand, there is nothing to suggest we will have the guile & balls this season either, if indeed we are in the relegation zone come January.

They say "The more things change, the more they stay the same". It will be interesting to see what the new manager does differently, WHEN WE GET ONE! :angry4:

I think with the Right january Additions we could end up doing a Blackpool sneak 6th spot and end up being in the premiership next year

I certainly dont think you'll be in a relegation battle, but do you mind explaining on what basis do you think a couple of 'right additions' in January will transform a team who are currently on course to gain 33 points from 28 games (end of january transfer window), into one that will need to acquire 38+ from the remaining 18? Who do you think your going to sign when it's been stated that no money will be available unless players are shipped out?
