What input has Slade had?

Fri Oct 03, 2014 9:45 pm

How much input has Russell Slade had over the past few games in his "consultancy" role?

Because quite franky if he's had ANY input at all the I think we can seriously look forward to a season of fighting relegation.

The team has not changed it's style of playing one bit since Ole left.

No putting the other team under pressure, no trying to win the ball back when it's lost, no creativity in midfield, lumping it up to Kenwyne - nothing's changed since Ole left, except that the players are (mostly) not played out of position.

Same old shit - different manger. Let's hope Slade has had no imput over the last few games at all because if he has had, then what he's been suggesting does not give much cause for optimism going forward.

Russell Slade will not be taking over a winning team after watching his new Cardiff side become the first club to lose to Blackpool this season.
The former Leyton Orient manager was at Bloomfield Road to see Cardiff lose to a second half-goal from Francois Zoko as Blackpool climbed off the bottom of the Championship table.

The defeat was the first in four Championship games Cardiff have suffered under the caretaker duo of Scott Young and Danny Gabbidon. Blackpool will be hoping this win is the start of something better.
