" Happy with tonight's result "

Fri Oct 03, 2014 9:31 pm

It was a result for proper football
A result which proves it doesn't matter how many superstars or how much money you spend
A result which proves that if you don't have pride and the will to win you get nothing

Tonight's game showed up everything that is wrong with this Cardiff city team/squad

It was exactly what we needed Russell slade to see with his own eyes because the last few games have just papered over the cracks in my eyes .

If he didn't know the size of the job before , he definately knows how big it is now !

If he didn't know why we are underachieving this season , he should now !

After that he is no longer going in to this blind and if he's a decent manager he will see our weaknesses which were glaringly obvious tonight for all to see !

Even though I'm gutted with the result , it may prove to be the turning point in this season . The last few games have been decent , tonight was his first glimpse of the real Cardiff city class of 2014/15 .

Up to him now to sort it out :ayatollah:

Hope he has the guts to rip apart the current midfield, Ravel & Daehli excluded

Some good points Tom, he might change his approach and be more ruthless than we expected, Slade will havea problem shifting the players he wants out as on large wages :ayatollah: :ayatollah:

Great point Stentona. You could have the manager's job if it were up to me

We have no one in midfield to control play, gunnarson is not up to it and whitts is just there for his free kicks, time to change it up,both players will have an input this season, but surely not as a regular pairing

Time to up the ante on Tan is it not? He's in the ropes humiliated deep down? On the run? Shame we can't do a mass walk out as it's such an effective way to show disapproval..... :bluescarf:
