Ole has ripped a Championship winning team apart

Fri Oct 03, 2014 8:49 pm

When Ole took over we had a team that only had 6 months ago had won the Championship easily, and now we look like we we'll be lucky to make the top half.

Sean Morrison has to be the worst signing of all, a poor man's Ben Turner.

Our club has very little quality, no pride, no identity.

Ffs stop whining about ogs. The players are under performing massively. Blackpool is a poor team but they wanted to win. Our players look like they cant be arsed.

I agree about Morrison - the defender - the amount of space he gave for the goal and at other times was ludicrous. Would like to see Turner alongside Manga or Connolly with Manga.

Bloooooobirds.

PS: Let's hope within in the next two weeks Slade can at least stamp his mark on the team.

The squad is to big and signings now looking less than impressive.

Macheda unfit
Guerra??
Le fondre not given a chance.
Dicagcoi however it's spelt??
Pilkington average
Morrison - poor
Manga - looks good so far

My biggest annoyance is left back wasn't sorted and central midfield not strong enough and no pace out wide still.

OGS has single handedly fucked this team right up.
Let's hope slade can stop the rot ole started.

This is some of the worst bullshit i have read in a long while. First of all it is starting to become a long time since we won the Championship and very few players keep their performance at top level for many years. We had many at the best time of their career at the time and they started to decline already the next season. Changes was needed.

Under Ole this year we had 4W 2D 3L. Lost to Norwich,Wolves and MBoro
After Ole we have 1W 2D 2L and lost against piss poor teams like Sheff W and Blackpool.

Ole was appointed at the wrong time. He should have started AFTER last season. In Molde he was at the relegation spot after 6 matches when he started the tinkering philosophy. Mainly because the players weren`t used to it and he lacked the players he needed. There he got backed as the owners said they had started something and when he had just recently gotten his team together he was given time as they would not judge him on what he did with the last managers team.

He won 2 titles in 3 seasons for a team who had won nothing for 100 years.

I know that what we saw from the team this year under Ole was shit but i believe that we had too high expectations about getting early results. His last player came in a few days before he was sacked. We can talk about last season all we want but it was now he had his own team and nothing comes by itself.

I would like to point out that players most of you thought was shit and a few who never got the chance are our key players now.
He got the best out of Jones,Fabio and Brayford BUT it took time. Maybe just maybe we would started seeing results now under Ole instead of becoming even worse under Gabbs and Young.

Who knows: All i know is that with Slade we got to give it 100% and not yell for the sacking for what he does with OLE`S team..A season with SLades team and i will judge him then.

Delusional.

Up until the last paragraph which I totally agree with, thats the biggest load of shite ive ever read.

Ole was tactically the worst manager ive EVER seen at the top 2 levels of English professional football - no exaggeration.

He ripped a Championship winning team apart and turned them into a very average team at the same level - fact. Who cares what he did in Norwegian football.

To say we are shit now because of Ole is the biggest bullshit i have ever heard. Lets say Slade comes in now, gets Le Fondre,Adeyemi,Manga ++ to perform at their highest levels without buying anyone in January and we get involved in the top again. Then we could say that we are a great team because of the signings OLE did. Or would we then give all credit to Slade?

Gabbs and Young fails and does a worse job than Ole but that sure aint his fault. Those guys are bigger tactical disasters than Ole was.

We are shit because of Ole. However, some signings that he has made have been great ie Guerra (when given a chance and a good run in the side), Manga, Fabio, Daehli, Dickagcoi (when 100%) and one or two others. However, he has also made quite a few poor signings ie Sean Morrison, Berget, Cala, Eikrem and a fair few others. So, Solskjaer definitely signed the players that he wanted and who he thought would get us promoted back to the Premiership. Don't forget he had 2 transfer windows to bring in the players that he wanted. So, he can't deny that he did not get a chance to bring in the players that he wanted, because at the start of the season he said himself, that he was very happy with the squad that he had and who he thought would take us back up to the Prem. So, if Russel Slade does come in and he changes our fortunes right around and after 10 or so games, we are in the play-offs and just a couple of points from automtic promotion. Then of course it is down to Russel Slade's good management, because Ole certainly could not get "His" players that he wanted and signed, playing the way he wanted, playing the certain type of football that he wanted, or get the players fit, or get the players playing with confidence, etc. Also, if that does happen when Slade comes in, then it would be an even bigger achievement as he would have done it with the previous managers players, who the previous manager could not get performing for him and Slade would have done it without any of his own signings, but he would have done through hard work, man management and being an experience manager. Unlike Ole, who did not have a clue when managing players or fetting them to perform to their best.

Bloooooobirds.

Are the players under performing, or are they massively overrated and not good enough? Who brought in all these players? The blame lies with Ole I'm afraid and Slade or whoever else steps in will be having to sort out Ole's mess for the next few seasons.
