Tan Sri has promised Slade money in January If?

Russell Slade has been told that there will be no more money to buy players in January but Tan Sri is confident in Slade's ability to work with players already in the squad but has promised Slade that any money he frees up through loaning or selling players will then be used to bring in players that Slade identifies.

Matt Connolly's contract extension that was announced yesterday was not a deal done by Tan Sri Vincent Tan or anyone else at the club but it was a deal that was agreed when Ole Gunnar Solskjaer was still manager.

Unforunately I think Slade is going to find it difficult to find buyers for many of the players he may want to get rid of as they would be earning too much here on longish contracts and few of them would be willing to take a pay cut to move away.

good luck trying to shift some of the truly shocking players off the books, no one will go near these players, incredibly overpriced and over paid. Guerra can get a bigger club than us, but how do you value a player for a decent sale when you show so much contempt for him? hmm
