Dikgacoi

Thu Oct 02, 2014 12:57 pm

What's the story?
Read about the disappointment when he first arrived of how unfit he appeared?
What's he had 1 league appearance, yet there hasn't been any mention of him since?
Has there been a fallout, is he injured? He can't still be getting fit!

It seems apparent we are struggling to get a hold of the midfield, yet we sign this guy (3 yr contract) who has a load of experience and seems just what we are missing and he goes missing without a mention?

Anybody know what's going on?

Not sure anywone knows whats going on. Like you said it appears to be common knowledge he was unfit when he arrived but that was a few months ago now. Has played a few games for the development team so perhaps needs match practice?

It's almost like the media forgot we even signed him, he could be our 'missing link'?
The silence surrounding him is totally underwhelming :(

Waste of wages. He needs to prove himself bigtime now.

Like almost all our players, none of them have had a good run in the team. i haven't judged anyone and will only do so when they have a run of games.

Just another one of OGS failed signings.

Gabbs and Young ( and OGS before them) should be quizzed on this by the journos at the press conference each week, but no one seems to be asking the question. I get the impression they have been told not to bring it up. Must be stuff behind the scenes we don't know about and the club don't want us to know about. Can't be simply fitness issues at that stage of the season.

He needs to prove his fiteness. Not being picked due to poor form is a lot different to not being picket as not fit enough to play. Is he working hard enough? Why is he so unfit? No mention of any injury so in my mind he needs to prove that he has it in him to get himself up to speed to merit a place in the team.

There has got to be something we don't know about. If it's just the fact that he's unfit and overweight, I would look into the legality of massively fining the player. It is nothing but unacceptable to be overweight when you are a professional footballer. Enough time have passed for him to be in excellent shape.

And like the OP mention; it's so frustrating that he's not taking part in the first team - he's in fact the exact type of player we're missing atm! I think Gunnarson have made a good effort and can't be blamed for the job he has done, but imho he's simply not the quality needed.

Get control of his diet, put him on a boot camp kind of training program or sack the guy!

Agreed. These are supposed to be pro's at the end of the day.
