breath of fresh air

No tinkering, players playing to strength, minimum changes. Simple game football, people often complicate it for their own glory!!!!

And a bench that has options that could change the game, noone, Morrison, macheda. Only one missing for me is Guerra but I'm guessing he's out on loan to "Coventry"

Apart from playing Daelhi as a winger and Gunnarson as a support striker :(

Gunnarsson is very dangerous breaking forward. How many goals have we seen Gunnarsson score when he breaks from midfield? The Man City goal springs to mind, but he fired that rocket in the Newcastle friendly and has scored a few headers from making runs from deep into the box. He also has the engine to drive forwards and lets face it, without Mutch the only other player who can drive forwards in our team is Gunnarsson. I think Adeyemi can too, but he's still a young kid and should be played where he's comfortable until he gets more experienced.

No tinkering? Is Noone starting then?

Gunnarson is a good box to box midfielder, breaking up play in his own half and linking with the forwards. He's wasted playing further up the pitch when we have better players in the squad for that position, Daelhi being one of them. I've never seen Mats have a good game out wide and for the first time on Saturday it looked as if we were going to start getting the best out of him. Sadly it only lasted one match. I hope Slade isn't going down the same route.
