What have you made of Cardiff City this season?

Cardiff have had their problems with managers like Brighton. Tonight's game will be a a very good test for both sides. It's going to be a cracking game and I'm really looking forward to it.

We're especially looking forward to having Russell Slade down here.

He was with us for a while and was a very popular figure.

Brighton haven't won in the league since August. What's been going wrong?
It's been an up and down season so far. We lost Oscar Garcia which was a blow but we got Sami Hyypia in as manager who looks to play the game differently.

We had quite a lot of loan players last year too so with them going back and a new manager coming in, it's taking a bit of time to get things going.

There is a lot of fresh blood in the squad and we've been a bit inconsistent but we feel we will get it right tomorrow night.

Who should the Bluebirds have their eye on?

I think it has to be Craig Mackail-Smith – he's beginning to boil nicely for us. He was badly injured at the end of last season but is beginning to get back to full fitness. If he fires, he will score.

He brings a lot of flair to the Brighton side - we haven't had much of that in the side recently apart from Leonardo Ulloa.

For Brighton fans, the one big regret was that we didn't get to see Mackail-Smith and Ulloa play much together.

Cardiff are underachieving with the squad they have. What do you make of it?
Cardiff have been very similar to us so far this season but I think once Russell Slade is in as manager they will improve.

There's no doubt managerial problems impact on players but Slade is a very good man manager. I think he'll do a brilliant job at Cardiff and I would expect both Cardiff and us to not be too far off the top of the table at the end of the season.

Prediction?
I think it will be a very good game but I'm going for 2-1 Brighton. Mackail-Smith will grab himself a goal and I wouldn't rule out Lewis Dunk either.

He's a young defender who's come through the youth system with us and he's been playing some lovely stuff at the back.

He could easily nick a goal from a corner or set-piece.

How apt that Brighton have someone called Lewis Dunk who plays some lovely stuff at the back.
