Glenn Roeder seems to have wormed his way into the affections of our chairman and owner.
Is he the fabled "football man" whose sage words of advice and wisdom will see us sweep all before us on a glorious return to the Premier League?
Or is he just a chancer, another leech feeding on the blood of the club, who has spotted an opening and taken it with both hands?

This is the win ratio of Roeder whilst he's been in charge of a club:
Gillingham P51 W13 L22 D16 Win % 25.49
Watford P139 W44 L55 D40 Win% 31.65
West Ham P86 W27 L36 D23 Win% 31.39
Newcastle P72 W33 L24 D15 Win% 45.83
Norwich P65 W20 L15 D30 Win% 30.77
Hardly inspiring

The problem is clubs like us Cardiff are destined to be just another shit premier league team struggling for survival, circulating
low end prem relegation managers and relegation low end players, Your destined for top flight misery.
we need fresh revolution and new faces to make something great happen, not sign washed up big team rejects or small prem club managers

I still can't quite fathom out how someone who's done so well in business (and let's face it Tan has) continues to take advice from non-footballing individuals.
He's got more money than we can possibly imagine. If I was him and I really wanted the club to do well, I would've been throwing money at the most respected and knowledgeable men in the game to come down and concentrate fully on football matters.
You can never tell how things will pan out but I'm willing to believe you've got more of a chance of success listening to respected and proven names/professionals than fly-by-knights.

Glenn Roeder - A manager who left to 2 teams in a dog fight and then were relegated .
Has never been promoted with a club or won anything ( unless you want to say the "INTERTOTO CUP" ).
And that was for by virtue of being the furthest placed team to advance from the intertoto cup to the UEFA CUP
"Football man" or chancer = None ( IMO ) More a pension planner !!!
