' Exclusive Big '

Mon Sep 29, 2014 4:03 pm

Vincent Tan is prepared to sell Cardiff City Football Club for the reasons of as follows.

A. Vincent as an honourable businessman is distraught to the amount of " dirty money laundering " that goes on within the football system to which often can't truely be accounted for masked by Managers connections and Agents.

Both Malky Mackay and OGS dealings have left him dumbfounded.

This is why investigations and actions continue against both previous Managers. This is also the reason Vincent Tan has selected a Director of Football to work with a head coach to avoid this in the near future.

B. Interest,Vincent Tan has probably been noted not to attend this season. This is due to his loss of interest in the game and operation and lack of success in Malaysia of the Country not getting behind Cardiff City, where a complete lack of interest in the Welsh Club has brought no commercial success.

C. Vincent Tan can't understand the apathy of his leadership and investment by the fans of the football club even though he in his opinion saved the Club from liquidation and feels no gratitude. He feels the fans have apart from no gratitude no long term vision to what he set out to achieve.

It's correct the Club will be offloaded to the first buyers who can pass the fit and proper examination by the football league and will be relieved to do so after having constant requests to do so by his loyal family members who feel Vincent deserves far greater respect to which he receives.

The outgoing interview was arranged by Tans advisors with Sky with Vincent Tan paying the travel costs in full. It's to assist the marketing and hopeful sale of the football club and is seen by the Club owner as a fine advertisement of the club and it's potential.

C is correct. He did save the club from liquidation... does nobody remember this?

I do hope we can find some good buyers who have a passion for football and not just business (and who will reverse the rebrand) BUT I think it;s important to remember the good things he has done for us (a BUTTLOAD of cash) as well as the bad.

Ian what I assume Nukes is saying is the interview is going to be used to paint the club in a good light for potentially interested parties, part of a hard sell of the club for the above reasons.

How can he STILL not get it?
You can't come in, rip up a clubs tradition and history and expect the fans to feel gratitude to you.
I am totally amazed that someone as successful as Tan can be that naive.

Point B - plastic!

Only here for the Premier League games, lost interest now.

The ultimate plastic!

Those points don't seem to paint the club in a good light at all.

Money grabbing managers and agents, ungrateful and hostile fans.

Hardly going to attract many buyers by stressing those things is he?

Better the devil you know than the one you don't!

If he does sell we may get back the blue, but not have the money, team and the extras he surely has given us!

If the minority or majority want that then there can be no bleating in the future about the new owners?

Or can there!

But as everybody on here says... he doesn't know that much about football...

He's a very very successful businessman... but that doesn't mean he knows how much heart, soul and passion goes into somethings as "silly" (some would say) as a colour.

I think what he is thinking is "better red than dead"

Good riddance! If the man had listened, and took his time to understand the game, the club, and the culture, he could have been a legend. Instead he arrogantly rode roughshod over everyone and we are now in a worse position than when he came. Nearly every decision he has made has been appalling and to our long term detriment. I have hated every minute since he has been in charge and will rejoice when he is gone!

Many people want him gone, because he made mistakes on purpose, and looking to get Slade in a cheap option. Tan heart isn't in this any-more.

How can anyone in their right mind say we are in a worse position than when Tan came. At the time, we were staring down both barrels. Oblivion rather than simply administration beckoned.

Easily. :laughing6: Have you forgotten the massive debt owed to VT?

Re: ' Exclusive Big '

5pm: NuclearBlue says VT is distraught with football and wants out.

5:30pm Sky broadcasts interview where VT says he is buying another club in Europe, wants to invest in the MLS, and will buy another UK club if he leaves Cardiff City.

more debt than ever, worst league position in years and playing in red! Far worse position! And all this talk of oblivion is conjecture. We have been in worst positions in the past, just minutes from having the plug pulled, and still survived.

Possible with the red, but a big job to turn them around, but it would be a massive dig at us, and money talks in football ??
