I disagree about Pilkington & although he had a decent game it was Fabio for me all day long.

Have you thought perhaps, that there is not in fact anyone for him to pass to ? His head is always up looking, but either there is no one looking for his little passes inside, or if they get it they are not good enough to make more of it.

He would be very special in a top team.....similarities to David Silva.

I would like him to have a shot when he gets the opportunity.

No thanks, I'll rate who I want to rate. Dæhli had a great performance on Saturday and deserves some praise. As does Pilkington, both put in a fantastic shift. Also OGEB, Dæhli has created many of our attacks and probably has a quarter of our assists this season, so goodbye m8

Let's look at the facts shall we?
Daehli is actually our top assister,so if we are gonna label this kid as lacking in end product what does that say about the rest of our midfielders?
He's played less games than all of them apart from adeyemi( and noone of course) He doesn't score goals yet, but he is more efficient and creative where the final ball is concerned.

The top assisters in the division have 4-5 assists but they have all played 9 games. He has played something like 5-6 probably less minutes because tinkerman ole could never let him play a full 90 min. So he is doing alright where that is concerned.He is also by far our least experienced player so I can't really sympathise with you when you pick him out especially for this criticism.

Barry boy is right actually, pilkington could have scored 2-3 more if he had been sharp enough to make the most out of the chances provided for him by Morrison and daehli on Saturday. This kind of thing happens a lot even kenwyne has been guilty if that this season, against both Huddersfield and Fulham he could have scored a few more.
Actually would like to see us try a more mobile forward upfront that can run intelligently down the channels especially now that we have Morrison. Guerra?

I'm amazed at those assist stats, looks like I have been a bit harsh on Daehli

One thing you and I certainly agree on is that Guerra is well worth a couple of games but, given what happened last Tuesday, I can't see that happening whilst Gabbs and Young are in charge

I criticised him for Boro and how I expected more of him but Saturday I thought he top notch. He passes forward and wants to go forward unlike Kim who usually turns backwards because he just lacks confidence. He won the free kick for the goal which was him creating a dangerous attack which a Wednesday player took one for the team to stop it happening. He created the goal at Fulham but credit to Whittingham.. Assisted him (KJ) at home v Huddersfield.. I do think we got more to see from him but he does have his weaknesses.

Im not saying he aint good he just doesnt seem to produce as much as ur all making out... seeing the stats maybe im being harsh but he certainly aint no david silva (who ever made that stupid remark is clueless) to be fair i wouldnt evan pick him in the starting 10 role now ravel is here (quilityyyyyy) think he could be playing alot outwide which doesnt suit him imo

I've read it all now, fans not wanting others fans to be positive about a young players having a good game.

I thought pilkington was average other than the goal, gave the ball away to often.

In the Boro and Bournemouth matches he was the only one who showed any ambition at all. He's not the fastest but he has great skill, determination and vision. I rate him and I won't stop rating him. great player and possibly one of the best in our side.
