What a massive shame.

Nothing wrong with the Tredegar Arms in New Tredegar. Not a bad place to have few pints and a laugh. Darcy should be picked up by a league club and given another lease of life.

I rated Darcy as well.

Shouldn't have turned down Newport County really was really wanted there.

Newport, Hereford or even the Gas should be on this, Darcy is a steal for as a free agent for a cheap one year deal. I hope something happens for him as this is a travesty.

Pretty sure you can still select him for the Wales squad on FIFA!

He should be ashamed of himself. Give up the drink, (the alleged drugs), diet properly, get yourself fit and be the best you can be. Deserves everything he gets with his awful attitude.

Shame I always thought he was a very useful player as he could play in different positions.

He won' t get a gig at Newport or any other League Two club now. I'm not sure why we wanted him after his stint with us last season. Despite his good reading of the game, he cost us penalties and free-kicks at regular intervals due to his lack of fitness and the size of his gut. North Gwent League is probably about his level if he can't be arsed to get fit. Merthyr might give him a go...

Have to agree with this if true.
There's much, much more to making the grade & staying there than just the skill.
Professionalism & attitude are everything.

Said some time ago Palace put him in rehab for his his problems. Sounds like that never worked, so sad because the Lad had talent lots of it. At 26 the future is still in his hands but he ain't got time to piss around. If he's gonna do it it's got to be now. Gutted

Good to see we have so many perfect people on here who have never made any mistakes in their lives, its really hear warming. Yes He has some issues, not all his own fault I may add, just hope he can move on and be happy.

He still has talent.
How can fans slag someone's career off when he had made a fortune from football. Just received a years pay off by palace.
I wish I was in his boots instead of working shifts on shit money.
