Daehli and Ravel

Can they both play in the same team do you think? Or is it one or the other?
Both best in the number 10 role and would daehli be able to take noone or pillkingtons place on the wings

Sure. They are from the same school of football, it would be stupid not to play them together. Thought they clicked straight away and it had the looks of a promising partnership.
To play fluid football we have to have more than one player that is comfortable on the ball and want to play quick pass and move football. Fabio, daehli and ravel are the key players in this style. Pilkington joined the fun, but he is not as quick witted as those 3.

You could play 4-3-2-1 for instance, those two behind jones. Hope slade is a manager that finds a formation that suits the squads talents rather than rigidly sticks to his fave formation like ogs.

I'd play both of them and drop Whittingham.

Won't happen though. Whitts seems to be undroppable for some reason.

Yeah it just means Daehli in a wide area.

maybe because Whitt's has a wand of a left foot - who crossed for the first goal yesterday & who scored against Derby just two examples :ayatollah:

And passed a beautiful long pass to Noone, who then set up the second goal!

Not sure I'd be keen on them both central, I don't think we have the strength beside them.

For the first time yesterday I saw another player for us combining with Daelhi who was actually on the same level. They will be great together :bluescarf:

Whitts is a bit underrated by the fans, imo. He´s mostly been used as a DM, remember, yet people expect him to be much influencing in the offensive part of the game. He´s a tidy passer and has been doing his job well.

As I understand it, Slade really prefers playing 442, and then I´m worried we won´t see much of that partnership.
