What does he offer? Really not impressed with this guy.

He looked unfit to me.

He can't be as bad as he has been the last two games....

Another one whose confidence looks shot (and blowing out his ass at the finals whistle :o  )

Why is his confidence shot? He's been injured for a while, back in the team as soon as he was match fit, hasn't played particularly well. It's not as if he's guerra that cant get a look in whatever he does...

Unfit

He´s been up and down. Consistency is what we need from him.

And a weight loss.

He's utter crap, lazy, slow, can't be bothered and gets knocked off the ball easier than Kimbo

He was just a bit slow.

Excellent run he made when he scored the third goal to be fair, also down to the great pass timing by Ravel though!

He actually scored a goal ;)

Maybe someone can pull up my thread when you signed him.

Didn't want to be negative for the sake of it but was 100% honest when I said he's one of the worst 'strikers' I'd ever seen play. Offers absolutely nothing.

Charlie Nicholls spoke about some of the bad signing Ole had made after he got sacked. I believe this is one of them he was referring too.

Look, Macheda had played and scored for Man Utd, that was more than enough to convince Tan & Dalman that there investment is sound :D :laughing6:

He may have scored a couple of goals in the league cup but for all the other time he has been on the pitch he has been very disappointing. Does very little running and looks unfit.

I cannot work out how he gets picked ahead of the classy Guerra and Le Fondre who is a proven goalscorer. Puzzling selections by Ole & now Young/Gabb

He also scored 10 in 17 for the struggling Birmingham side last year, so he may well come good.

I certainly wouldn't write him off yet, my worry is about his fitness more than his quality. He isn't the only city players struggling.

Lethargy!

I really think we'll see some great stuff from Macheda when the midfield start working well. I love his positioning even though he's been caught offside a little too much the games he's played (not incl. the obvious wrong by the ref vs. Sheff Wed).

Can't really see the argument that he's unfit - looks sharp to me. Doesn't seem lazy or without fighting spirit either to me. But he needs games, and of course, it's hard for any striker to shine the way we've been playing against lately.

Expect to see him start bagging goals in the near future. :ayatollah:
