Football authorities will come down hard on us

Fri Sep 26, 2014 2:41 pm

I have this feeling that the Football authorities will hit us hard over the poaching of Slade.
I hope this guy is worth it!

But didn't we meet his buyout clause ?

Watch this space, fella! ;)

The approach was made with the full knowledge of Leyton Orient FC and they are simply "money-chasing" because they believe they can extort more money from the club (i.e. Tan) than the release clause in Slade's contract!

The LMA are actively supporting Slade in his determination that the club were active thinking of replacing him and therefor in breach of contract themselves!

Leyton Orient (having accepted the resignation) have a simple choice; take what is on offer with no fuss or go make a big deal out of it and (possibly) end up with nothing for THEIR OWN alledged breach of contract!

It is my understanding (although I'm not 100% ITK on this one before anyone starts) that Tan has had his people look at what has happened and is 'comfortable' that things will come out in Cardiff City's favour and Slade will be free to sign his contract either late today or early Saturday morning before the game versus Sheffield Wednesday

Not my first choice, but I'll give him a chance

If we have got to pay fines etc. then Tan will have to dog in again. His own fault for not taking the easier option.
