Is it just me or, Connelly just don't cut it?!!
We spent close on £10m on a CB partnership and they r yet to b paired together!!
Ok, we conceded 4 goals at home under morrisons watch. Is it just me who thought he looked steady?? There's more to defending than just yr defenders, u defend as a unit. At the moment we r not a unit, not even close!! Surprising Whitts features in every starting 11 of our fans!! Am I off the mark or do some share my views??!

Who do you class as defensive midfielders?

Gunnar is not an out and out CDM. If anything we're still missing an enforcer in our midfield

I have noticed a lot of people want to go with the diamond formation. Baffles me with the current form of our midfield, having been over run in practically every game. I would like to see:-
Marshall
Brayford Bruno Connolly Fabio
Whittz
Pilkington Gunnar Ravel Daehli/Noone
Jones

I know Whittz isn't the best in that position but without Dikagoi fit he's our next best option. Gunnar is playing well further up the field a bit like Mutch but not as good of course. Pilkington has been playing well lately so wouldn't drop him. And it's a toss up between Mats and Noone on the left. I think Ravel simply has to start. Still think with my line up we are week in central midfield though. But playing a diamond formation would not benefit us at the moment I don't think, we need some wins under our belt before going down that route.
