Enough is enough

Here some fans are pulling away from watching city is really bad news. Other fans then calling people plastics etc.we all no what a true fan is someone that goes to games over many years supports through think and thin and year after year hes there supporting the club.

I would classify myself as one of those fans I love ccf c with a passion its my hometown club.i made a promise to myself when tan took over to always go to games and support the team.
For me now a few years down the line still sticking to this promise and let me tell you I never supported tan from day one when most people excepted his money and rebrand and free scarf I didn't. I have been angry from day one very angry. I haven't enjoyed anything since tan took over not even promotion.every game I sit and watch my team that I love play in red I am in real pain I hate it.

Now then some fans are leaving and I am not renewing next season the reason is what tan has done and is doing to my team is so bloody painful to keep watching from the stands and it hasn't been enjoyable for years. We've protested sang done the lot the man doesn't listen to us.
The nail in the coffin is appointing slade now when hez in Cardiff fans will back him but for many when there is the safe option with lots of manager s out there tried and tested like pulis its difficult again to see the clubs philosophy and direction fact is slade never managed at this level.

For me every person has a breaking point and lots of die hard fans have had enough pain and walked away. Most have considered walking some have some will.
Ive never turned my back on ccfc the pride I feel is still strong but not like it is now it just hurting I think many fans feel the same way anger and pain are strong emotions to continue to put up with .

Hope my post has made my fellow fans try to understand. Maybe its now time to vote with your feet as tan just ain't listing he never has. Not ccfc anymore hes ruined us. Thoughts.

Sounds to me like someone needs a hug!

But I fully understand. I feel the same, it's only my son that keeps me going now.

What some people don't understand is that for some, the abysmal way Cardiff City Football Club is being run is more important than the team that plays on the pitch this Saturday. They don't see the bigger picture.

If Slade does well it will be IN SPITE OF the circus going on around him and he will deserve massive credit.

My dalliance with removing support after 40 straight years is to do with the change to a coach/DoF set up brought in by a man that knows nothing.

It is being brought in so that Tan gets his message down to the footballing side and that will just cause great rifts.

It will all be smiling faces to start. Slade has shown that he is desperate for his chance at any cost. Then we have the possibility of Roeder coming in who has also been mothballed for a good few years and will be extremely grateful.

Tan then has his yes men in place and it is a recipe for disaster.

When it fails and the arguments start, it will not affect the coach, DoF and players as they will always find more work.

Tan will be fine he will still have his billions.

When it all goes wrong it will be the fans that will feel it for years and the club will AGAIN be embarking on ANOTHER 5 to 10 year business plan.

If I walk away and the club are a success with the current set up then well done but I wouldn't come back.

Tan would have been proved right and I would have been proved wrong.

However, I would not want to be part of the Tan circus again because the success would have come about as a result off ALL the things that are wrong with football.

Good post. Pretty much sums the situation at our once proud club.

I am tied in to a 5 year contract for 8 premier lounge passes one season left after this , prior to that I have had a season ticket for many years , and saw my first game in 1967.
But the truth is I have been hanging on by my finger Nails, every time I see us in Red at home , its like being stabbed in the heart.
I have loved this club from the very first time I saw them play . It has been a way of life to me , and I have always been proud to shout from the Rooftops wherever I go in the world , that I am a Cardiff City Supporter.

I will always love my Club and the team , but I have to say , I am really struggling to go and watch them playing in Red.
Tan has ruined our Club, although it has to be said he saved it too!!
We are a laughing stock to other clubs.
Frustratingly Tan must know that all he has to do , is change to Blue , and the tide would turn , overnight , the Club would be as one , and we could create the Cardiff City we all know and love.
So BrickyBlue I can completely understand where you are coming from and how you feel..

Thats where I am at.

I will see out this season, reluctantly give Slade the respect and backing he deserves, and by the end of this season if I still feel the same way no renewal for me, may do some aways next season where we wear blue.

All this will be avoided if Tan finds a blue buyer, or do what he should have done this season, and restore the badge and colour. Even if we are relegated again. That would bring the 'fire and passion' back for me.

If all this front page nonsense and crazy decision making was happening and the rebrand never happened, then a die hard I would remain, its just another era experience to go through like the 80's. We have seen it before. But this is different and far far worse. If we were in the PL in red doing well, would I feel the same way? Yes and no! Yes about the rebrand, even beating Man City and having a brilliant night after it, I still would have swopped that for blue and admin and a drop down a league or two, reinvigorate and kick on. No about Tans leadership, as obviously it would be working for us to be still be at PL level, but it aint, far from it.

Tan is a selfish, ignorant, inconsiderate, meglomaniac dictator, out of touch with the culture and heritage of Britain and Wales, its football, the working man and its legacy.

All will be forgiven if he returns us to badge and blue, don't even want an apology. But there would still be more commitment needed from him to win me over, and that would be to stop meddling, interfering and being so stubborn about a sport he knows nothing about. I mean hiring another rookie at this level to save us from a relegation battle, after exactly the same similar appointment last time failed so dismally, costing us our PL status and losing us millions. We are not a plaything for him or a playground for rookie managers to gain experience and learn the trade. Even my wife shook her head in disbelief and said "he has learned nothing its crazy" and she doesn't like football!

If true, about Tony P wanting to come here under current circumstances, what a sacrifice. I can see Pulis in bluebirds cap on the touchline screaming at our players, wooping up our fans, one of us. Its a daydream. The craziest most stubborn oversight in our clubs recent pantomime history.

And theres an embarrassingly long list of those.

I do. It's because we are losing, and every time in the past that we have been a poor team, supporters vanished into thin air. If the new manager takes this side towards the top of the table, a lot of these supporters will be back irrespective of what colour we are playing in, or who the owner of the club is.

Re: Enough is enough

Its simple for me.

I am not yet a "deserter", but reluctantly feel it coming.

If I decide to stay away, (and it will be hard as I would feel guilty for not supporting our players) its because I am not putting my bum on a Vincent Tan seat any more, and is my way of protesting against his running of our club. Its not rocket science. I was having the same moan even when we were on MOTD every weekend beating Man City etc. But things are a million times worse for me since then. Its the direction, decision making and disrespect and ignorance to the paying customer since those heady days. And its worse for me than watching us draw 0-0 with Barnet on a wet Tuesday night at an empty Ninian with Faerber and Schwinkendorf in the team! O for return to those BLUE days.

All so called "die hards" deserve huge credit and respect for all their devotion, rallying calls, patience and loyalty, our club need that backbone. But, a lot of them equally deserve criticism for poring scorn, name calling and expecting all non die-hard Cardiff fans to be just like them. Thats disrespectful and an unrealistic expectation. Every club has a different level of committed fan that makes up its fan base.

And I have been a "die hard"!!!!!!!!?

I have been obsessed with rock bands in the past, followed them all over, invested stupid amounts of money etc. Some took a change in direction which I despised, I stopped purchasing and stayed away and waited in hope for a return to the reason i loved them in the first place. I see similarities with our football club in many of us doubters here.

Alienation

Its a difficult position watching the club change so much around you it goes back 35 years of support for me 80 for my grandfather 60 my father my whole family support city all have done if put my soul into the club and if people don't get my gripe then they are clueless.

Its one big mess on and off the pitch but I will never wish bad of us I hope slade is a massive success for us I really do. Its a gamble big time when we at this time need a tried and tested manager its a safer bet for us .

I love my club but like ive said ive completely had it with the current owner his direction is way off what ccfc should be.

Nothing to do with premier league and us being relegated mate its about being a real fan of ccfc and I can tell you now real fans understand this subject .annis is understanding of it but if you want to make out we as a club are fine or fans that have had enough aint real fans then you need to wake up out of a very deep sleep. Yes mate real fans are leaving or have left I don't actually no any fellow fans that are happy with tan and his direction for the club.

Slate us all you like real fans do understand my post. Some of the response to my post are just dumb.i think we have no hit the brickwall we've tried it all protests fans dialogue with chairman message boards the 1927 mins protest every game now some fans are protesting peacefully think tan will listen. Well the fact is he aint listening to shit while the circus around ccfc keeps on going.

Well ive ad a f**k full of this ongoing situation for the last few years im tired of it .
