This sat is my last game untill a change of owner down the CCS. I got better shit to do than this chore of a club i dont even recognise anymore, so enoughs enough the only way (HE TAN) will see sence is by peoples feet. Its taken me long enough to realise that all the moaning in the world all week long about tan and then turning up at games makes me look a f*cking idiot so thats me done for now. Good luck reds , keep it blue for what its worth which is a complete waste of time imo as its doing jack shit

I didnt even realise we had a game saturday until my brother mentioned it, very sad as usually I was the one excited and organising everyone.

I have one more match before I leave until Feb or March to work on my small business on the other side of the water. I normally feel a bit gutted when I go over there knowing I'm likely to miss some good times watching the City. Not so bothered this time, be nice to get away and hope that when I return things may be better. Down side is that I will be watching a different sport, with an equally shitty side at the Amway Centre who lose more games than Cardiff.

Call yourself Cardiff city fans ! Sorry but you should support your club through thick or thin ,your just a bunch of plastics who only support Cardiff city through the good times ! You should be ashamed of yourself s !
Thu Sep 25, 2014 8:14 am
I can see why you want to quit the club till new ownership. However, I have felt more obliged to turn up this season. I have never seen Cardiff City in the premiership, I'm now helping to fill gaps the plastics have left.
Please sell up Tan, your not wanted here, F off back to Malaysia or Bosnia, you're pick

Got to be honest I'm with you
We've been through Clemo, Wright, Kumars, Hammam, Ridsdale, etc and all have brought as much, if not more, misery than Tan

The only difference is that Tan did get us to the promised land (at the cost of the rebrand) and as a result our excpectations, and I include my own, are now much higher.
This is still my club, it still drives me to depression and ecstacy (mainly depression

) but what got me into the City in the first place was that feeling that whatever shitty owner, whatever shitty manager, whatever shitty players and whatever shitty results we went through the real fans were still there. Hopefully that's how I'll always feel.
Yes this is a painful time (although I would argue we are still just one good manager away from another promotion) but it certainly isn't the worst that I've experinced as a City fan in the past and won't be the worst I experience in the future either, unfortunately

Join the list of fans leaving chief. It ain't gonna stop either. As it stands I won't renew my season ticket next season

Wez, I know Ian personally, he has been a City fan since we were young boys and a loyal one at that, yes he likes a moan but if you knew him you'd realise, he f*cking moans about everything not just City.
Ian is will be a sad day if you hang your city scarf up.

Many times I've felt like walking away.
Got to admit this regime is the greatest test to my loyalty to the club/team/whatever group you want to call it.
Wez you should retract that statement. You got yourself banned, what sort of supporter does that make you because while you are banned you are no good whatsoever to the team.

I sadly may not be renewing next season for the first time since I started, but my reasons are more for the fact of the sickly sight of our team in ghastly red and that joke of a badge. And Tans ignorance and disrespect that goes with it. Can't stick another season of it,coven if we were premier league top 10, I have stuck with it in the hope that a return to blue would have happened by now. I plan to do the odd away match next season and will support Rusell Slade this season, even though he is totally the wrong choice for me. It should have been Pulis despite the team sheet leak.
All this nonsense about supporting your club through thick and thin and not being loyal, well I have done that, but everyone has a tipping point which means you don't enjoy it anymore so why spend time and money then? More so if you have your own family, which you didn't have back in the day, when I would have been equally critical myself. People and priorities change, Shankly was wrong football isn't more important than life and death.
I love Cardiff City FC it has been a big part of my life, I absolutely crave a return to blue, but it just ain't going to happen under Vincent Tan. And while he is there, crazy decisions like appointing an out of depth rookie to keep us in the premier league will continue.

No chance retracting what I Said ,Cardiff city should be your club for life through thick and thin. Yes I'm banned but in May will be appeal ing and if it goes ok will get my season ticket just like the previous 15 years before my ban.some of these so called supporters buycitting are just plastics ,over the Years of supporting the city loads of fans boycotted for one reason or other only the real die hards stay

Just waiting on whether Slade is appointed as a manager or a coach.
If it is coach then he will just do what Glen Roeder tells him and Glen will just do what Tan tells him.
Meddling in the football side to such a level makes the club weaker.
The rebrand was foolish but its you're money. Such a heavy football side involvement is idiotic.

So Wez what is your opinion of people who say you should stick with the club through thick and thin yet those same people then announce they might give it up because of the off field actions?

Shame really all the best.
Are you going to go from here then as some that don't go to games like to be negative and try and bring the remaining fans down???
Or clean break and move on??

Anything that has a fan base, a rock band, a football team even political parties will have a mixture of followers from loyal die hards right through many levels of followers down to occasional supporters . Just the way it is, just because you describe yourself as a die hard, and I respect you hugely for it, you can't expect everyone else to be just like you and criticise them for not. And I HAVE been a "die hard" , just less of one now since the rebranding of our club. Lost many friends on match day due to Tan, never criticised only respected their views,
All the best bluebird77

I'm thinking of jacking it in too. Already fed up with the fans constantly moaning about the re-brand but now the standard of football which is my main interest is adding salt to the wounds.

Why bother going this Saturday ? Stay away, leave it to the fans that want to support the club/team... And why announce it on M/B? Attention seeker

Come back when your ban is up and you've been to the CCS and seen a club you don't recognise.
Thu Sep 25, 2014 4:28 pm
People have always stopped going down the City, for all sorts of reasons. First I can remember is selling Toshack.
If you don't want to go any more, then don't.
Thu Sep 25, 2014 5:17 pm
Maybe a plastic but doesn't change the fact I just simply haven't enjoyed it as much the last few years, when in fact as a plastic that should have been the most enjoyable.
I won't be renewing because I have better things to spend my money on next year, I'm sure I'll still go to games though.
Thu Sep 25, 2014 5:53 pm
i go to a game of football to be entertained ... whether it be from the football, the atmosphere or the banter ... at the moment watching cardiff offers nothing .... i have walked from games this year wondering why i drive a round trip of 70 miles on a saturday for that ... and thats after a win too .... im bored with it .... maybe i just need another break from football like i have a few times in the past. who knows!

Surely the end of the Hamamm days and Ridsdale days were worse?

This is my third time actively supporting the city.....Each time i left were for sound reasons, college/work then kids. Take my eldest daughter home and away nowadays and love how far football or we as a club have come.
Football has changed, the culture around football has changed, the club has changed. This clown won't be with us forever, but if it hurts so much just stop going now, stop coming on here and moaning today. It won't get any better for you unless YOU change something.
No one likes red, the ground tells Vinnie this every game, he is looking for an out, we haven't seen him for months. There are 19 home games left yet........

Well I'm sorry Wez, you know me and to call me not a true die hard Cardiff fan because in boycotting is a load of bollox
