Missing A Medel Like Character

Wed Sep 24, 2014 7:34 am

Our current form and the amount of 'cheap' goals that we are giving away shows that we are not only missing being organised at the back but we do not have a Gary Medel to sit in front of the back 4 to give them some protection.

We need a warrior in there to break up the attack. At the mo Dikgacoi is not playing and Gunnar is being played out of position.

At the moment every team that plays against us realises that we are an easy touch and our defence is having to face wave after wave of attacks. It is only a matter of time before the other team scores. We need to be harder to break down but there are no 'fighters' who run and run to protect the defence.

We could have done with Hudson last night. Medel would probably have faded away, like the rest of them.

Big time! It is unbelievable that we sold him! A real leader and a proven quantity at this level. Plus he had started the season in good form, despite the own goal at Wolves.

To be honest, nice bloke and all that, I'm starting to get angry about OGS. He's landed us in this mess. Not just Hudson, but were any of that lot last night better than Taylor, Mason, Cowie, Conway, or Kev? Really don't think so.

At least Scott Young talks about the core values of the club. Not a just a lot of continental poncing about.

We need to get back to basics. Promotion has gone. Stabilise, and get a few wins by Christmas, or we're looking at the drop.

Malky sold Conway- well loaned him out. But he would've sold him
