Bring back Mackay, Malky Mackay, i just dont think you ....

Tue Sep 23, 2014 10:15 pm

OK, I`m kind of taking the piss a little here, but on a serious note ..... I would take MM (mobile phone excluded) right now - how many gutless performances did his teams provide us? how often did we look disorganized like the team does now? how often did the players looked unfit / couldnt be arsed during his spell? 4 points from the 2 Manchester clubs within the first few months of last season - this season we would struggle against Merthyr & Mountain Ash.

Also, considering the bizarre names being spouted now, who would you take? Ok, he fucked up, got caught & said sorry for the texts, but i couldnt give a shit if he was earning off transfers and commissions - these very same players at least played for him and actually looked like they gave a shit. SIDENOTE in here - Ian Holloway talks publically about his earnings from transfers of players he brings into then sells out of clubs.... The charlie adams transfer from b`pool to liverpool spring to mind anyone? One minute tan has an issue with agents and commissions the next he ( or one of his asslickers ) is signing players his agent "friends" represent?

And a final note - chants for Mackay would seriously piss off the arseholes running our club into the ground right now!!! In tans words, im sure you all remember the interview - " if the fans piss me off i will leave" - WISH FULL THINKING!!!

BETTER THE DEVIL YOU KNOW???

Tan could take Mackay on why not , we just signed a player who attacks women and threats of killing them and could end up in Jail but he is a good player well we have falling apart since Malky has left, no passion poor fitness and no togetherness with the supporters and the results are there for us all to see

The question was how many gutlessn performances did we see under Milky, not his list of achievements with excessive funds

How much did we spend in the summer of 2012 and how much did we spend this summer?

It's unfair to say Ole would have/won't have achieve anything this summer, who knows, could have turned it down. As I said I respect malky for his first season but the bloke is long gone. Pathetic he still has fans after what he did

the question was - wouldn't you rather MM at the helm (baggage and all ) right now than the shit since he left?

I know my answer. ABSO-F*****G-LUTELY!

No. The football was shite and his time has passed.

Malky is the boy !.. Wont get another manager like him for a while, i would like to of seen his january targets come in aswell during last season, as we were only 16th or so when he got sacked... Such a shame !

Unfortunate. Glimpses but no clinical striker cost us in the Prem. No suitable partner alongside Caulker as well. No pace on the wings bar Noone before he got injured. The man is being accused for taking money(by Daily Mail) a racist, homophobe, a sexist and an anti-Semitic. I refuse to overlook that. He's also a very simple manager. Motivational skills were his only strong points. But like I said, he wasn't exempt from gutless performances.

you say malkys football was shite, cant be worse than losing games 2-0, 3-0, etc every weekend under ole ?... Clueless manager, who fucked our club up !.. Got rid of our warriors such as hudson, cowie, conway and mason !.. Even gestede put a decent shift in...

Malky/The Board sold Gestede, not Ole

Malky's Barmy Army! We had a team and togetherness under malky, at the start of last season I said as long as malky stays as our manager we'll be ok,he made the odd mistake as all managers do,we were about where I expected us to be around the time of his sacking, but since he left the football results have gone downhill.
Best manager we've had.he got 100% out of his players.

Yeah I remember that year he got us to the League Cup final and playoffs with excessive funds... oh wait he barely spent a penny that year.

I do though remember the year that he got us promoted out of a notoriously difficult league as runaway champions - doing as much as he possibly could have with the funds he was given, or were you expecting us to go and win the Premier League by christmas the season after?

I just want a manager who gets us to win 1-0 every week. That's all you need. Nothing fancy - early attack from the start and solid balance of offence and defence after the goal is in. It's not like we don't have quality players to do it :/

Off-field issues aside, I'd take MM back in a heartbeat. Exactly the type of manager we need now. We were well organised, hard to beat, playing for the team and for the shirt. When we were promoted, most of us would have been happy with a 17th position finish and then assess how we were then in terms of addressing more attack minded football. I'll always remember how he built a performing team from scratch when he was first appointed and how we performed as a unit in the seasons that he was in charge. This would never happen of course but if we don't appoint an impact manager post haste I honestly fear for our future. Scott Young's comment last night confirmed my suspicion that we largely have a team of talented individuals that like any organisation, need structure and strong man-management. The chairman is tinkering again in football matters he knows nothing of and I suspect the board don't want to push the obvious as their looking after themselves. I would imagine that board meetings are like The Emperors New Clothes, with no-one addressing the multiple elephants that are crammed into the board room. The answers simple, Pulis now City. Get it done.

You are spot on - Malky was far better than that useless Scumchester sub! :bluescarf: ( Partywithole is obviously missing someone to party with ;) ).

You do realise Conway and Gestede were sold by Malky, he sent Mason on loan last year and did not play Hudson in the Premier at any point, plus Ole offered Cowie a contract which he turned down so he could get a sign on fee in his back pocket elsewhere coz he left on a free. But don't let the truth get in the way of a good story.

We spent -£12 million pounds this summer. I do not believe MM made a profit in 2012.

If thousands of our fans as you suggest are racist, sexist, anti semetic and homophobic then I would be disgusted. I think Ole had to go and was the wrong man for CCFC but I do not want that racist, fraudulent c**t anywhere near my club
