MOTM v Bournemouth (H) League Cup

Tue Sep 23, 2014 9:48 pm

Ok, can't say there will be many to pick from.

Shocking result. In my opinion, we are staring at relegation.

But who was your man of the match?

Don't forget, the player from each match with the most MOTM votes will go into a Player of the Month poll. The winner will be who gets the most POTM votes, and this forum will be presenting an award to the winner.

48 hours to vote.

Danny Gabbidon for non stop effort, for a player unfit, he gave his all :ayatollah:

Sorry Annis but gabbidon was poor tonight. Gave the ball away cheaply and lucky he didnt cost us a few goals. Him and cala together very poor and didnt work well at all together!

I only gave it to him, only on his effort for a player to play 90 minutes is very very hard/tough, when uve not played for a long time.
Mats Daehli (sub) was the best player on what he did :thumbright:

I dont want him playing for us, but he played a full 90 minutes and gave his all and being unfit,is why I chose him. but he is past it for me and to be honest the team over all were a shambles.

After the amount of times he gave the ball away, I just can't agree with Gabbidon. Almost felt like he was playing for Bournemouth at times.

Has to be Daehli for me. The only guy on the pitch who looked like he wanted to be there.

I find that very hard to believe.

You're right, it's tough to do a full ninety when you are, let's be honest, pushing it a little bit and possibly a little too old for this level. As far as I remember though (I'm trying to forget) he was directly the cause for two goals... Almost four.

Mats Daehli or Macheda, the only two who made an effort and they were subs.

 Are people being nostalgic when they vote for gabbidon? He was awful, at fault for 2 of the goals. Never should have put himself into the team, rusty as eff.

Agreed, worst player on the pitch by a mile.

I'm just remembering that time last night when he was the only defender back and decided to try and dribble past the TWO Bournemouth forwards with no support... we were just really lucky that the second player was offside when they passed it round the completely helpless Moore

Man enough to admit your mistakes...

Unlike certain Malaysian businessmen... For the sake of privacy, let's call him V. Tan...

Actually, too obvious.... We'll call him Vincent T...
