Large part of me died tonight.

Tue Sep 23, 2014 9:04 pm

I'm falling out of love with this club.
I do not recognise it anymore.
It's not because we got beat, I've seen that hundreds of times.
But Something has changed for me.
I don't get the same feelings as I used to.
Maybe it's the distance, finally taking its toll?
I didn't even bother listening tonight.
Followed the game by occasionally glancing at Twitter!!
Even backed Bournmouth to score 5 after half an hour.

I don't think your alone with those feelings, but football fans are fickle, and s winning streak will rejuvenate us.

Happened the minute we were rebranded for me and many others I think mate.

Difference now is that a lot of people don't have the glamour and excitement of the Premier League to disguise the lack of spirit at the club both on and off the pitch.

I can't wait for the day we return to blue and we're one as a club again. Until that day, I'm keeping my distance.

Exactly the same happened to me at the Norwich game - our club is slowly but surely dying a painful death because of one greedy dictator and I only followed tonight's game on the BBC Website. I know exactly how you feel - it just doesn't feel like Cardiff City anymore and I've had enough of Tan and his red shite.

Spot on, sadly.

Football was a lot more fun years ago. Feel completely alienated from it now, not just Cardiff, but the whole modern game.

Someone will come on here and say "good riddance" but those people are a small part of the problem. They want to go, but they don't know what it was like way back then. Football felt different, looked different, even smelt different! Pleased I was there to see it. Can't be bothered nowadays (but still go!).

It's more than the results.
It's hard to explain, distance is taking its toll.
The club I fell in love with ISNT there anymore.

That potential winning streak looks light years away after tonight's performance. I think a lot of supporters have just lost their passion with what's gone on over the last few years and now there is no passion on the pitch either. We have become a soft touch. If Tan does not bring in the right manager then the slide will just continue.

I'm not sure if that's entirely true Gavin, I have a feeling that everything going on is gradually killing off the unquestionable loyalty that we all had, I fear that lots of supporters are getting beyond a point of no return, should all this shit continue, it's more than just losing games

im with you 100% on this. i posted about it earlier in the week - my club is dead and has been for a while - since this lunatic arrived at our club. we were a better club by far in the years gone by. I havent set foot in the place since we lost our identity and will not return until its our club again.

If there are any morons still supporting or defending the man responsible for this mess they should be as ashamed of themselves as Tan should be. there is no supporting him or his actions any longer.

Your probably right, the core fan base is becoming to disheartened, plenty of plastics to fill in during the good times, but times like this we need the core fans onside

I'm the same tonight, first time in a while, I gave up listening to but didn't back Bournemouth,
A lot has changed, I'll still be at Brighton next Tuesday, but sort of wrongly already expecting defeat :o
