Slade is a mediocre manager, decent in the lower leagues, but has no experience of managing higher profile players or bigger clubs. He is a risk and gamble and one that's not worth taking. Should we end up mid table or god forbid relegated, which isn't out of the question by installing Slade, then who knows what will happen to the club, we could limp on, changing managers and haemorrhaging money for the next few years until VT finally packs it in, leaving us in God only knows what state. VT is getting advice, he certainly wouldn't have come up with Slade as a candidate![]()
If VT does not take the most sensible course of action and appoint Pulis, who by all accounts wants the job, then I really do think that he has finally fecked it up completely.

Exactly some of the people bagging Slade as an option are spruiking for Sherwood who has 5 months managerial experience and was pretty bloody erratic. Spurs fans did not want him in charge as he was tactically naieve. I would rather go for a guy with 20 years experience in the football league with a history of good man management.

Who mentioned Sherwood? We need an experienced manager who has achieved things at this level and ideally above, I don't consider Sherwood in that category, Pulis however is a very different prospect as he has managed at the highest level and been successful.

What are we, a fecking charity?or training centre?
Why the feck are a club of our size taking chances on untested managers, when there are managers out of work with Premier and Championship experience, who have won promotions to the highest league and proven they can manage at the highest level?
