Ole should of been sacked for summer Hols

Tue Sep 23, 2014 7:32 am

I must admit that I haven't been following developments as closely as I thought I had (a lot of us have full-time jobs, take note planet swampers :laughing6: )

I just assumed it was the Clubs' decision to sack Ole, never envisaged Ole would instigate his departure first after the dreadful football/results of his reign where it would of reassured me if the club were aware of just how bad the football was and sorted out his p45 pronto.

Now we are left with a management vacuum as it never entered Dalman's and VT's head that Ole was doomed to fail after the shambolic performances of? Well take your pick.

For me, the most worrying aspect is the lack of a plan other than to back Ole to save face on a terrible decision to hire him. Ole was proclaimed to be a better coach than Malky after 1 win against Norwich, Remember all.

I don't think fans know everything and I for one never called for Ole's departure at the start of the season, but surely seeing the squad day-to-day and being more ITK, the board could of seen Ole drowning out of his depth and made this decision in the summer. Just imagine, a new manager bringing his own players in surely would of ensured the new man has the tools to succeed.

Now we are left with Ole's signings with a new boss when chosen, and ironically, this is one thing that can save Ole's rep. He has already prophesied that Manga will be a great player for us, and was keen to get it over in the press how hard he worked to get him to come here, already trying to salvage his rep as a man who can spot a player.

Now we are left with mixed signals from the Cardiff hierarchy over the appt of a new gaffer, potential D.O.F & confusion all round. I would want to interview Slade & Newton for the job. 2 completely different career paths and CVs, who knows what the correct fit might be, I certainly wouldn't pigeon hole what I am looking for as both have merits :bluescarf: :bluescarf:

Thomas, When I tried telling everyone on here, I was slagged down/told to stop being negative.

Just look at the hammerings, Palace,Hull,Jacks,Sunderland,Newcastle etc etc all average Prem clubs they all took us to the cleaners.
Ole was out of his depth.

You did Annis, you got a lot of stick for it and I'm guessing you held back a damning judgement as you were prepared to give him a few games at Championship level.

how Tan kept his composure with Ole with the thumpings we took last season I do not know. A hatred of Malky clouded his judgement on Ole. Easy to blame MM for everything after he left, when the fact was Ole couldn't motivate an alcoholic at a brewery

It was not just Tan whose judgement was clouded by the hatred of MM.

Tan made himself out to be a right idiot over his comment about Ole being a better manager. Also the appointment of Ole by the Man Utd wannabe gang of Tan and Dalman has added to the fuel of what a bunch of clowns we have running the show.

Be careful Annis you are in danger of taking over my title of Mr Negative. Like you I saw nothing in Ole but kept quite. My fears like yours came to light. Truth hurts some so they hide behind a fiction of positivity. Bet they are struggling with their tails between their legs now but who cares they have all buggered off and goof riddance to them.
