I think it's ridiculous that we are looking to appoint this guy who nearly got sacked from a league 2 club last week & what has he ever done?? It'll be like Moyes at Manure with the players saying who the f**k are you & what have you ever done?!!
It shows a complete lack of ambition by the club when Pulis, Lennon, Clarke & Houghton are all available, Eddie Howe or Karl Robinson would be far better choices than Slade he's a lower league journey man ffs! I for one will want a refund on my season ticket if we appoint him!

City74. Does make a valid point! This guy had spent 20 yrs hovering between league 1,2 and even a spell non league! What's not to say that he hasn't already found his level! Managing a team like orient with a small playing budget and no transfer budget is a good achievement I'm not mocking that!
Why hasn't anybody in the champ ever taken a punt on him? I personally think that it shows a clear lack of ambition for an appointment.. We have a squad of over 30 talented high profile characters and individuals! Would this guy really get their respect?? I doubt it very much!
The moyes example is good, talented manager many accolades over achieved at Everton but just wasn't big enough for utd!
We have a host of talented experienced managers available at our disposal yet we seek a guy that 14 days ago none of us had even heard of!
