If someone comes in now and doesn't hit the ground running i cant see Tan sticking with them for to long especially when he wants instant success and promotion.
If you go back last season or season before the venkys were getting rid of managers for fun as they weren't doing as good as they hoped could you see tan going down that road or do you think he will be patient and give the new manager time?

Don't get results, don't keep your job! That's why I think long term contracts are stupid, and it should go year by year based on performance!

I agree Cal, long contracts are a waste of time and costly to the clubs.

Get results, leave for a better option. One year contracts would be a way to push the wages through the roof.
