Pulis or stick with Young and Gabbs for 5 more games

Sun Sep 21, 2014 6:07 pm

Tony Pulis it has to be. Then di Matteo or Lennon. I don't think these 3 are going to happen though, so...

If not then gabbs and Young and see how they get on until end of October, if going well and improving let them have it until Xmas and reassess then. alternatively if Tan wants something different then not Hughton Jones or Clarke, Russell Slade I have strangely warmed too after my boycott reaction yesterday!! :bluescarf:

Everyone has pros and cons. I'd like Howe but it won't happen. Whoever it is I will give them a chance.

He's also good at that.

Need to buy a few more Players, and sell a load for Pullis to be happy to take the job I think. Not sure that is particularly attractive to Tan. Can see why he is keen on someone like slade who will work with who we have, but I think the compromise must be someone more proven at a higher level. Personally I hope he backs Pullis, and we will go up and stay up. (Even if we do eventually have some whingers about playing style)

Only gabbs and young if we have written off this season, and don't mind players touting for moves. Ogs was half of his signings boyhood heroes. Gabbs and young may have Declan john in their childhood fan club, but it is fair to say the majority will be massively underwhelmed and want to move on the cheap.
