Agree, tan wasn't intending on sacking him he literally just backed him in the transfer market with manga a few weeks ago.
I reckon ogs left because of poor results in the last few games but I also don't think ogs wanted a director of football above him. "Differences in football philosophy" was real IMO.

Wouldn't be suprised if Ole make quick decision to leave when he realised fans had turned against him, and booed him at the end of games. Also didn't his car get keyed? Thought he'd better get out whilst he still had a reputation to save. God knows who we are going to get now. I am just hoping that all the names knocked around are a PR trick to make fans panic, so we end up being relieved that Dave Jones takes over. A clever ploy Mr Tan.

Vincent Tan will spend the next 24 hours discussing the identity of the new City gent with trusted football aides, although Slade has jumped to the head of the queue after confirming the Bluebirds had made an approach to his club Leyton Orient. As yet no contact has been made.

Thomas, was Ole sacked or did he walk (as stated in the media)?![]()
My understanding was that it was recommended to Tan that it was time to pull the plug on Ole, as he was so obviously out of his depth. However, it would appear that Ole instigated the contract termination after the Middlesbrough game and it was agreed with Dalman and Tan the following day
Both men (Dalman and Tan) were exceptionally appreciative of Ole's honesty and integrity and that is why they still view him so highly as a man (and I can't argue with that!) as he effectively saved them the ugly task that was becoming inevitable
I am certainly not ITK on this and your comments would (s always) be appreciated![]()

What makes me worry Sven is that the termination of the contract of Ole might not of been instigated by the hierachy as i just assumed it was, just when you think they are finally beginning to wake up to the reality that Ole was rubbish and wanting to sort the club out, this has hit me for six tonight, in shock

was widely reported on radio wales that ole asked for the meeting that lead to his departure if that helps!
to think it took Ole and not the club to stop the farce from carrying on is severely depressing

tbh think he new his time was up as i said before its ok to swap and change team but not at beginning of season! you firstly got to be established playing pattern then introduce rotation gradually especially, in champ its is a good policy and we do have squad to implement it but not in way ole set about it! unfortunately he was doomed to fail. as for wade i think it may be what city need someone who is here for long term rather than a quike fix in pulis or lennon, after all cannot see us as relegation candidates who ever is in charge. so why not go with a new face at least he knows the score unlike ole.
