I purposely left him off my list due to his affiliation with the four thumbed hill billys down the road

Another pathetic post.
There's plenty of world class players that couldn't make it as a decent manager.
Anyway, if Slade comes in you'll be getting your money back & can f**k off!
Fickle as f**k!

Lawrence got us up via play offs. Was way out of depth and had we had a decent manager we would have made play offs in 2003-04 season. We had gabby, earnie, Thorne, kav, Robinson etc in that team yet he failed as he was a puppet for hammam.

Slade was a P.E. teacher but am pretty sure he played at some sort of amateur level.
Mourinho was also a P.E. teacher and played Div2 Pprtugal. Perhaps there's something in it. In fact those that do are mostly poor managers.
Coaching is all about man management, motivation and tactics. The players have the skill and ability, the manager doesn't need to have played at the highest level.

Fergie was shit also.
Theirs probably some genius football fanatics out there who could run this club better than most.
It helps if you know what goes on, on the training ground for sure
