Promotion or Financial Difficulties

I believe that I am right in saying that the press quoted Mr. Dalman as saying we need promotion this year or the club are in financial difficulties.

If that is the case, why are the club making enquiries (Paul Hartley/ Russell Slade) about unproven managers at Championship/ Premiership level.

The club took a gamble with Ole and it did not work out so why gamble again? (Money?) If it does not work out the club will be looking for another manager in the near future and the financial pressures will be mounting. Could this be the start of the slippery slope?

Hopefully things will work out for the better but do you go for proven experience or take a gamble? I would go for experience but I suppose time will tell!
