We are going to look back on this time and thank Tan

I really believe someone has advised Tan very, very well.

Slade is gonna be great.

How would Neil Lennon be any good? Pulis is better than we are at present and also employs hoofball tactics that so many hated Malky for. This guy will be good. Many teams take managers from lower league sides and push on.

There's been a lot worse. When we got Eddie May a lot of fans moaned saying he has no pedigree. The rest is history.

Ely Boy, I applaud your stance as you for one have backed up your words with actions but this is not about trusting Mr Tan its about trusting a new manager who deserves his shot at the big time.

He'll be excellent at doing what he's told, that's why Tan has picked him.

Our club is fecked, forget the rebrand, forget the blue, the club is slowly going under!

Tan knows nothing about football but had. Heard of slade

It's either in someone else's hands or he has been advised.

Certainly wouldn't be my choice but will give him a chance.

I don't think I'll ever look back and think "Thak you, Tan!".

Then you are deluded.

I refer you to the "what have the Romans ever done for us?" Sketch on youtube

Just for you Karl I'll republish a post I made some weeks ago. Change forgive for thank Tan for and it's relevant to your post. He's not been perfect but there's been a lot worse in my time at Cardiff.

Forgive him for what?

Stopping HMRC liquidating our club.
Giving an average manager an exceptional budget to get us promoted to the Premiership?
Buying good players with sell on value?
Sorting the pitch out?
Increasing the capacity?
Getting rid of the egg?
Getting rid of Langstone?
Getting rid of PMG?
Being proven right in sacking Malky and Moody?
Ensuring we get good value for our players after our relegation?
Buying a squad that is full of quality and hopefully will take us back to the Premiership?

Anymore for anymore?

Yeah, I can't figure out what I will want to look back on and thank VT for the most?

* maybe ignoring and completely disrespecting the identity that has been built over 100 years?
* the lies about debt to equity?
* the unparalleled levels of debt?
* virtually no commercial benefits and actual loses incurred in terms of merchandise sales (at a time we should have sold more shirts than ever in our history!)
* ripping apart almost beyond repair something our club is famous and was respected for - our fan base and it's passion
* the complete lack of acknowledgment that our fans even exist and mean anything?
* the fact that EVERY news story relating to the club is one of farce that is making us a laughing stock on football
* for making a club that should be attractive to managers / players so toxic we will not attract them any longer?
* the fact that he is only concerned with what the f*cking Malaysian think of Cardiff City and NOT the people of South Wales?

I'm not sure what I want to thank him for first really.

A huge gamble in my opinion, I will give my support to whoever our manager is. But at a time when the club is in a very fragile position I do believe a higher profile experienced manager would have been the wise choice. :bluescarf:

Debt to him as opposed to HMRC whereby we would be liquidated.

No one actually knows about the merchandise sales.

Yeah we really struggled to sign players in the summer didn't we?

Our fans passion was gone long before Tan. I'd go back to the FA Cup Final for that.

The only reason we are a laughing stock, is that fans believe we are big and important enough to be a laughing stock.....

No one cares about us except a few Carrot crunchers over the bridge and a few new breed swansea fans who won'y be there for the crystal palace game....

f*cking great.

He'll be the manager equivalent of Andrea Ferretti then, the last reccomendation from the red nosed Jocko.
