How can our fans pre-judge a manager who hasn't even arrived yet? Baffles me our fans at times. Im sure clubs such as Everton thought the same when David moyes was appointed at Everton and even Arsenal fans when Wenger was appointed. If you look at his record, it actually isn't too bad. He's done well on a low budget. Obviously judging by that, you can see he has good motivational qualities to get the best out of a squad that is already there. Give the guy a chance if he's appointed. A big name doesn't always mean success, we could stumble across a gem here potentially, he could well be the perfect fit for us.

Oh ok, so if you're a 'top' manager you need to start at the pinacle of world football? You can't start at a lower league club, is that what your implying?

No saying we should be attracting a better calibre of manager !
Thing is would anyone really want to join our club?

How do you know he isn't a better calibre of manager? He's been at clubs that have had small budgets and small squads and he's done quite well. Imagine what he could do at a large squad and with money to spend. He's never been given the opportunity.

We are supposedly a club with aspirations to get back in the premier league this season.
Hiring a guy who has only managed at league 1 level with limited success doesn't fill me with confidence , and I doubt our squad of highly paid players are going to be enamoured with him either.
We are fast becoming the new leeds if any of this is true.

Read my original post. Give the guy a chance if appointed. Half the problem at our club at the moment is an bad atmosphere due to prejudice on players. Now it's potential managers. Support whoever is there.
